@elliotwilliamgrigor what happened what he was goven 100% oxygen just after he was born, and due to development new born children don't regulate their breathing on carbon dioxide concentration they do it on oxygen supply, so his mind went oooh too much oxygen and stopped him breathing. so he got cyanosis which caused his blindness (if you ever wanna tell people bout it look up chemoreceptors in infants and have a read)
