GUYS...anyone able to save aeries? I dont wanna complete the game because of the part where she dies..so I got a save before the temple of the ancients that I always load and play. Ive tried everything...been waiting for about 10 years for teh secret to save aeries...please help ! ! !

@gMemo92 - Wrong. Without any other materia equipped dragging HP down (Except for Cloud's Bolt materia), this is the base amount of HP Cloud/Barret have at level 80ish.

@chrisbary About 3 times. I plan on making my fourth within the next month. Just started yesterday and am already at Corel/Goldsaucer in just under 9 hrs, and at lvl 20 average. Fastest I've done it so far. I plan on maxing out my stats as early as possible and beating the weapons without any tedious levelling up or KOR.

how did you set the controler up so you could auto train i mean pressing x i can under stand but the left and right or up and down is much harder as it will interfer with the battle... id love to know how you did it :P This is awesome i love being able to sneeze on bosses and then dieing :P it's soooooooo fun

@lycanshadowvalentine -- If you walk into a wall at a certain angle and press R1, it will change your direction slightly; enough to run into random encounters.

So if you set RB on auto-turbo, and hold into the direction of the wall then you should run into random encounters without messing up battles. You have to make sure Cloud is still actually walking though, not just changing directions, which he can do if he gets stuck in the wrong place.

I don't see how you can just leave your playstation on and do all that with just a turbo controller, xploder methinks :) I mean you can set it to attack and move but you can't go weeks without healing lol

@ThePetewar - After a few level ups up you start getting the first attack more frequently. Also from the back row, you'll only take about 10 damage or so if you get hit, and still do plenty of damage to kill things in one hit, once you've got a couple of thousand HP, you can last several days easily.

I must say, I don't believe this. The simple reason being that the low-level enemies you fight against at this early stage in the game give out such ridiculously EXP and AP, by the time you reach level 20, the increase in your level-bar will be so negligible. I'd estimate a play-time of at least 500 hours, possibly 1000.

@CHIPSTERO7 - 500 hours seems about right. I left it running for a few weeks. I was getting about 1-2 levels a day at this stage, IIRC.

@lejonzx - Can't remember the brand (It's packed away at the moment) But it's a pretty regular turbo controller. The turbo can be automatically activated so that you don't have to hold the button in, apart from that it's a pretty bog-standard cheapo one.

Dudes I have a save for the pc and cloude has 99 level he has all materia incude nights of round, all enemy skills (even sephiroth's nova) and all his stas at full :D

The best is that this save is at the begining of the game (he has just come down from the train for the first mission) :p

@shintoheadkick no, he was lying. Unless you cheat and do a mod or turbo controller its impossible. we'll not impossible but it would take forever and you would go insane. My friend thought he could do this about 7 years back so i came up with the idea to bet him. I don't know the exact amount on how much we bet but i know it was over $1000. He quit after 8 hours. I didn't collect cause he was poor at the time and i didn't want to be an asshole.

@HarlotEffect93 -- Really? Who would that be? I spent about 30 minutes setting this up and then about 1 minute a day filling the characters up with health potions, so it certainly wasn't me. I couldn't be bothered doing anything like this if it actually required effort on my part. >_>

@HarlotEffect93 -- Nope, nearly all automated, as per the description and the first annotation. I occasionally (We're talking somewhere between once a day and once every two weeks) loaded it up, filled Cloud and Barret up with potions, and set them auto-fighting again, which took no more than 1-3 minutes each time.

I'm far to lazy at home and busy at work to do anything this silly manually, trust me. >_>

I probably played conventionally for about 2 or 3 hours to get the process started, then I set the controller up and left it for several hours and/or days at a time. I think the total game time was probably about 500 hours, but I was probably only actually playing manually for about 3-4 of them.

@PotatoHandle Sometimes capture cards red green instead of red. It's a problem with the ability of the card to capture RGB (Red Blue Green). Big red and blue areas will not read correctly and often times these will give way to the green. Green is most commonly shown because it is the least utlized color for mixing and a capture card generally tries to replace this color in many instances.
