Anywaya I can't believe they cut the song down to about two thirds of the length to have a radio style video version. It cuts the song well short in more than 1 meaning. There's no intro and there is only 1 version of the full chorus. How dumb is that? I have always thought that the video is way too simp[le for how epic the song is and was my fav from I-empire. Compared with other vids even tho they became more simple by 2nd album this is pretty mediocre.

He left cause of the choice that Mark gave him. He said blink or family. Behind the "childish" Tom Delonge WE know. He's a awesome husband and father and ofcourse he would pick family. He started AVA cause he could write music and go on tour when HE wanted not when he HAD to. But i hate looking at that past and im happy that they just got back together. This 2009 tour has been the best thing that's ever happened to me. And i hope other people feel the same way...

Basically, I think the blame of Tom leaving Blink 182 was all of their faults. In my opinion they just grew older, more mature and Tom, I think, had just stopped his drug & alcohol problems? So obviously tension would grow. I'm just glad they're back together, and I think that's what all you should. Tom is an absolute fucking beast, aswell as Mark & Travis.

I'm pretty sure he left due to rising tensions with Travis and Mark, as well as conflicting priorities between the 3 band members. Tom needed to spend more time with his family, while Travis and Mark weren't held back by that, and wanted to continue touring with Blink. Tom knew that he just couldn't do that, and so it ended up in their extended "hiatus". Angels and Airwaves, when it was formed, allowed him to still be close to his family, as well as expand on what could be done with music.

Heres my opinion (you dont have to agree) Tom probablly made this band to escape what he was doing with blink 182. Just imagine making and playing the same kind of music everyday.
