I hear a transmission in the film. The trailer towing package on these vans saved lots of transmission problems for our family -- I got the van as a hand-me-down (for its utility) with 177k+ miles on it, and it's still smooth. But I'd have yours checked out before too long.
@29256860 Not to mention these vans and the toyota seinna, are the safest minivans you could buy in the late 90's. My mom had a 98, wounderful van until the tranni would start slipping every now and then. So she bought the sequoia we have now, then a couple of months later, the tranni went out on the toyota! I sure do miss that van!
What a weird place to put the hand brake. A kid could grab that.
