  • what does he say at 0:21 ?

  • I'm glad I was raised on stuff like this. I don't know anyone my age that knows SNZ.

  • @Miaisapunk

same here! when i would get home from school music by squirrel nut zippers and other similar bands would be playing when I opened the door :)

  • its the bees knees

  • I remember when I first bought this album, loved it from start to finish. Their earlier album is great too.

  • Апвоут за статью.

  • its crazy to think it was not so long ago.....people used to make music.

  • Holy shit...this is amazing. I love Jazz and Swing and by god this band is amazing. Thank you Tomas Kalnoky for introducing this fucking great band to me.

  • Its makes me wanna jive!

  • Im diggin this crazy scene, baby!

  • on my ipod i have Dubstep bands, Never Shout Never, 30 Seconds to Mars, Dashboard Confessionals, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Lil Wayne, Mumford and Sons, the Zac Brown Band, and Creedence Clearwater Revival.

that's a load of different genres.

    got a problem with it?

    get over your stereotypes.

  • @chrissnicolee

No problem here, just love and have an open mind to new beats.

  • That's not that much variety, just sayin'.

  • @chrissnicolee

From VNV Nation, Sublime, The Cure, Lyriel, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Peter Tosh, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Willie Nelson, Visual Kei bands, and traditional musics like Ravi Shankar and Gheorghe Zamfir. We're too complex of beings to be stereotyped, otherwise it'd be like a kaleidoscope with greys instead of true colors. Rock on!

  • @chrissnicolee But... But Nevershoutnever and Lil Wayne are awful...

  • @chrissnicolee nobody cares

  • Isn't it nice to hear a real full band for a change,

    say no to synthesizers!

  • i can't stop:

    Dancing n Smiling<3

  • This song makes my feet happy!

  • This used to be hold music at a place I worked. Several years later, I can finally hear this song again without going mad.

  • my favorite SNZ track, love the vocal harmony and the solos, incredible it would be to see these guys live

  • sweeet

  • its vietnam hep cats

  • This will get me pumped for fire drill Thursdays like no other!

  • This is the kind of stuff I want to hear coming from teens' phones rather than that R&B crap!

  • @ApplePanda94 its what i hav on mine

  • @ApplePanda94 im a teenager. this is on my iPod :P

  • @ApplePanda94 this is stupid. I'd like to hear it on any ipod, regardless of what age group owns it. Besides, I don't find it hard to believe that a teenager couldn't have "R&B crap" and a variety of music from different genres on the same ipod.

  • @ApplePanda94 Haha,I agree. I'm 20 and grew up with this. Had this CD when I was a kid, loved it. I was just listning to Emerson Laker & Palmer's Tarkus, that was a lullaby to me one when I was a child. I'm going through some old bands and reliesed new music is horrible(except for tool) and has no soul really. SNZ is a 90s band keeping it classic. You don't see that anymore.

  • @ApplePanda94 I'm just 18, and I love this kind of Swing music! However I also enjoy a wide variety of music, which mainly depends on my mood and theme in my mind, like Score soundtracks, Trance electronica, Power heavy metal, JPop ballads, you name it. I love to explore ALL genres and songs, to see what inspires me, perhaps not all teens today are like this, I also find it a real shame, however I have a dream of someday helping people worldwide be more themselves, just a small dream :).

  • @ApplePanda94 i totally agree with you. This is what's called "Good music". Much better than the crap that's being played today.

  • @ApplePanda94 Well you got one teen on your side!! :) This ia one of my favorite bands on my iPod.

  • I wasn't sure what I'd find when I asked if I could listen to SNZ Hot at the record store in 1996. The first track, Got My Own Thing Now, blew me away and the rest of the album was just as good. I didnt expect anything like this. I HAD to have it!

  • @Shackamaxon

My story was similar when the Cherry Poppin' Daddies came out with their Swingin' Hits Album. Definitely a desert-island disc

  • duh

  • This came out in 1996? Wow...

  • Love it, love it, love it!

  • wonderful music, sadly a band who is ignored

  • Wish somebody would post video of them singing this great song.

  • My favourite song of theirs. Hmmhmm.

  • Super Nu Swing Jazz, or charlestone ?

  • Swing revival

  • @ZeroRacer Yep. Loved it!!!!
