You could've mentioned all the bones of the city are actually German--the old town and all of the surviving pre-war infrastructure. Even its old name, Breslau. German-made and German-built. But having seen the city firsthand, I am glad it's in the hands of the Polish now. It means good riddance to legions of German bankers and bakers and sausage-stuffers. It's the Poles themselves who give the city's old German bones a real spirit!

no. The oldest part has been built by Poles, as Wroclaw has been there few centuries before Germans came. What you said about infrastructure is true tho. But keep in mind that Wroclaw is now like 3 times bigger than it was when war ended. it is different city now.

@DJRYGAR1 Co ty gadasz, fajnie że Wrocław jest teraz polski, ale pierwsi mieszkańcy byli Niemcami, osadnikami z Niemiec i Śląska. Owszem to że znajdowało się tam biskupstwo, nie znaczy że Polacy tworzyli realną siłę narodowościową szczególnie po wyznaczeniu miasta na prawie magdeburskim. No chyba że mówisz o ziemiankach i tym co było przed lokacją? Widać że wychowałeś się jeszcze w komunistycznym systemie, nie fałszuj historii w imię narodowościowych pobudek i kompleksów...
