  • watching this, it's making my heart pound and I'm fighting back tears :'(

  • This was a serious and tramatic event. My friend's dad was in one of the towers and did not make it out. It is almost unbearable to think that for every person that died in the attacks, 1000 people died in the Holocaust. Those are some scary numbers.

  • i was 23 when this happened. and all my colleagues were older than me. but everyone agreed when I asked that I had to make a big poop in the toilet cause I was soo frightened! still pooping out of sheer scare! but pooping helps to mourn, tell ya!

  • The reporters need to stop talking. For 60% of the time they had nothing to contribute to the broadcast, so would just ramble on about absolutely nothing. Let the footage speak for itself.

  • RIP to all the victims from Hungary.

  • @panyidavid God bless you... Thank you.

  • It was about 10:30pm in India and I remember watching the CNN coverage at home. We were all horrified and could only imagine what people must be going through there. Next morning in school, everyone was still in shock. Hope terrorists everywhere are lined up and killed.. Thoughts and prayers to all the victims and people who lost their loved ones.

  • I swear, these news reporters are retarded.

  • @Kazoo4U The reporter couldn't fathom a huge building collapsing. That's why he kept saying explosion. We now know what happened, but, at that very moment, it was beyond anyone's imagination. Nobody thought the buildings would collapse.

  • you see, he always talks about explosions

  • Fuck them terriost!!! I was in the 2nd grade wen this had happen,I remembering watching it,nd I got the call frm my mom saying her friend died on the 2nd plane, she nd the family were the last persons to talk to her!:( SO FUCK ALL U MUSLIMS!!!! STAY YUR ASS IN YUR COUNTRY!

  • I was watching porno when did happened.

  • @HentaiFundamentalist

i was making love with my gf when did happened.

  • i know it ruined me and my cousin nancy's lives and i'm scarreed

  • Interesting how the initial witness to the Pentagon says it was a helicopter flying over the Pentagon.

  • good god. going back and watching this CNN is about 1 or 2 minutes behind the other networks on their coverage. morons.

  • well coordinated- Yes. Terrorists strike - No. False Flag- Yes.

  • BURN IN HELL OSAMA!

    FUCK AL-QAEDA

  • @AccessDenied55 its not AL-QAEDA....

  • the tower collapsing is really strange!

  • gidaca gidacka

  • fuck you bin laden they should have brought him back alive so they could tortoure him

  • burn in hell osama

  • Fuck you OSAMA! BIN LADEN YOU ARE A DEAD MOTHERFUCKING CUNT! HAHA!

  • this catastrophe is the horrific thing i have ever seen in my life, only persons under with evil within them would do such this that would have human being. its so very hard to watch this.

  • Fuck u osomid

  • I live in manhattan and was in the 3rd grade when this happened. our teachers wouldnt tell us what was going on, but we all knew something was up bc our teachers were listening to the radio w/ headphones + kids were slowly getting picked up by parents. my mom was getting out of the subway in tribeca when the 2nd got hit, and she immediately turned around and started walking uptown. i didn't believe her when she told me. it was honestly the most scared i've ever felt.

  • i was in 6th grade when this happen! IT STILL FEEL SO SURREAL

  • When the planes crashed into the towers, Pentagon, and Pennsylvania I think of how scared the passengers and airline personnel must have been. Hundreds of people were gone in an instant. Even though a lot of people fought back on the planes they must have been scared. However, they were all a brave bunch and they fought for our country.

  • its a good thing we went to war and fought the bastards who did this... too bad their country is still on the globe...i would have nuked them

  • Damn, CNN was totally out of position for the 2nd plane impact and the first collapse. They just chatter you to death instead of just focusing on what's happening.

  • MUSHROOM SHAPED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope the president was'nt watching that one.

  • i was in kingdergarden....... i remember we got sent home early........ my parents had the tv on all day and all night my mom was crying ...... they just kept replaying everything..... it was like a scene from a movie.....i didnt understand most of it but i know how i felt....RIP

  • I just want americans viewing this to know I live in Australia but my entire school stopped in mourning for your country. Everyone was listening to the reports, students in the school grounds, teachers during classes. As the reports flew across the globe we as a world united, felt and shared in your pain. Never as strongly as you, but my tiny school stopped and hoped our hardest that everyone would be alright and that such a thing would never happen again.

  • @temptationofmemories You not only mourned with us, when we went to war you fought beside us. Bled along with us. Followed us into Iraq when most of our so-called "friends" chickened out on us. That will never be forgotten. Ever. We owe you a blood-debt that can only be repaid with American sacrifice on Australia's behalf.

I'd walk through Hell holding a can of gasoline (petrol, to you) if an Australian asked me to.

  • @temptationofmemories thanks for that Australia, thank you, God bless you

  • @temptationofmemories This is a comment from here in America, and I have to say that this is a very touching comment. America is indeed a big place, but that of course doesn't mean that it's a safe place. Once in a while, there's a war here and there in the United States, and every war means another citizen of the U.S. being lost, and being that there's no possibility of an ending of these wars, I just want to say, you are indeed an amazing Austrailian, and God Bless your community.

  • I was 13 years old on this day I got up early in the morning to get ready for school and it was the only thing on tv. My dad fell asleep in our lounge room and the tv was silent so I had no idea what was happening I just remember feeling sick to my stomach watching the news.

  • 2:20 !!!

  • I feel slightly demonic for rewatching all this news coverage, like I'm trying to re-inflict the horrific pain I and everyone else felt 9 years ago today.

  • @cutapacka4 me 2! its a wierd thing yr just watching it for historical purposes but since we were alive when it happened it feels wierd.

  • I had the same reaction as Aaron Brown. I was in complete disbelief that the towers collapsed

  • I was a bit to little to undertstand this... I was in Kindergarden... I had half days in the afternoon, so I woke up, went downstairs at 11 am MT, and Mom was watching two towers on fire...I had that feeling of something unusual, but I didnt understand the magnitude of this so i though it was cool. Then My dad called me, and told me I shouldnt watch this, and I had it explained to me... A couple days later I had a bit of understanding, but I fully found out in 2006 when movies about 911 came out

  • I was playing diablo 2 when my brother told me about the events unfolding in new york. For myself I can tell you that I didn't see those buildings before that day (except in Kevin Home Alone...) but it was a shocking scene... later on that day I was meeting some friends for a school work at home and I told them that this day would change the world... they just laughed at me, but I already knew that I was smarter than them before though ;D ... RIP

  • Respond to this video... i remember i was a freshman in hs and i was leaving to catch the bus when i saw the first tower on the news i thought it was a accident at first until my algebra class when my teacher was crying her eyes out and i knew something was really wrong.

  • i remember seeing this on tv. every channel was turned into a news station so beyblades was cancelled and i was upset. i was in grade 1 at the time, and i live in ontario.

    r.i.p. all who were lost

  • I don't live in America but i remember my parents watching this on tv and i had no idea what was going on but i could see how serious it was when i looked at my moms face and she looked like she was gonna cry....

  • I was in my last year of high school. Talk about a wake up call. We were living in a fantasy world. The world is different now. We realize that there was a world outside the borders of the Western world and that world posed a very real and dangerous threat and we needed to take that seriously. very very fucking seriously. sadly I think people are sinking back into comfortable denial.

  • @viciousdinosaur now it's time to realise that the real evil is still inside the western world. hidden behind multinational corporations. they control the world through globalization.

  • It's amazing how fucking dumb people are. First they thought it was a pure accident that 2 planes randomly hit both towers, and now this assclown looks at the tower falling, a plume of smoke, and he can't see the tower and he is trying to figure out what just happened. Gee wiz dumbass.......it probably collapsed and is no longer there. COMMON SENSE FAIL

  • @frambesbuckeye

In their defense nobody's mind was registering coherently with what we saw.

  • @Nxtl68 Mine was. It's pretty damn obvious. Myself and everybody watching it on TV thought it was pretty common sense that it was an obvious terrorist attack and that the building collapsed. The situation wasn't humorous but we couldn't help but laugh at how moronic the people covering the situation were.

  • @frambesbuckeye

Mine was too and i was scared shitless.

  • inside job. thats the only thruth ... sad but thruth

  • No it's not. The truth is that we were attacked by a bunch of pissed off Muslims. What are you, retarded?

  • @darthgrahf have u seen any of the logical questions asked by some of the so-called conspiracies surrounding 9/11, Have a look at them...

  • Yes I have, and they have been disproven. I can't believe this crowd is even still alive.

  • @darthgrahf Okay - I really havent seen any answers to any of the logical asked questions. But i sense u arent interested in another perspective towards the case. So have a fine life :)

  • @Merlinmhc South Park really answered the conspiracy theorists well enough. lol

  • @darthgrahf Episode number ?

  • @Merlinmhc Season 10, episode 9. Mystery of the Urinal Deuce. If anyone could show America and the world for what it truly is, it's Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

  • @darthgrahf Yeah i def like those guys. Ill have to check the episode out then. Thx haha :D

  • i'd shit my pants if i watched this that time

  • i am from greece but america is my second country this day was so dad for me my dad was on 2 sc plane he came to new york to see me and i never saw him again when i tall this story to my friends i cry :(

  • At 2:11, Brown says "There has just been a huge 'explosion'". What explosion? I don't hear any explosion whatsoever. The "explosion" should have been picked a loud boom up on Brown's microphone. My best guest is maybe Brown is just verbalizing. What do you think, folks?

  • He was talking about when the tower collapsed

  • @BaileyMya1 actually it was an explosion. the towers were brought down by controlled demolitions

  • @Khsfldd actually it wasn't an explosion. the towers collapsed because of structual failure

  • @BaileyMya1 i think he ment explosion because of all the smoke, form when the tower collapsed

  • no one could really accept it until people started to hear about the death count.

  • "cascades of smoke and fire" "huge explosion"....says it all really

  • doesnt it say something that EVERYONE was suprised that the towers collapsed? doesnt that say anything about the official story?

  • @SelectedHandfull

    your brain is a joke

  • I remember when the towers began 2 fall me and my mom wittnessed the attacks from lower manhattan we heard a boom looked up and the towers were on fire. When the towers started 2 fall my mom grabbed my hand and started 2 run but I was staring at the towers fall as a huge cloud was chasing us a cop pulled us into a starbucks and the cloud passed us when we walked out it looked like world war 3

  • wow CNN must have had some of the WORST video coverage of this event...

  • because there was more damage and twice the amount of weight on the second tower.

  • what a big miss..they didnt film the actual collapse.

  • wow i can remember waking up and going down to eat breakfast and some cake ( my brothers birthday was the day before) and i saw the second plane hit, and the south tower collapse

  • but i did and later that day, all of a sudden teachers start running in our class room. we were the only ones with a tv so they start yelling turn on the tv. when my teacher did, all we saw were buildings on fire. i thought it was fake until one of the teachers started to cry. it scared me to death because i didnt know where it was. but later that day it hit me, and i thought back to that morning.i still cant believe t. im not saying my mom is able to see the future but she saw something.

  • she told me that she had this horrible feeling that something bad was going to happen on that day. i thought she might have been talking about like our family or friends. but she told me no and said she didnt know why but it had nothing to do with us but it was going to be bad. She almost didnt let me go to school

  • i will never forget the day of 9/11. it was early in the morning like 5 a.m. and i was in the second grade. that i night i was suposse to sleep in my room. but all of a sudden my mom woke me up early and told me that she wanted me to come to her room.

  • id like to know what the terrorists around bin laden thought as they saw that.....!?

oh oh.....dont think they supposed that the building would crash.....

  • I rember when this happend, I was in 2nd grade I rember my teacher crying. the principal had this look on her face made me scared, it was a look i have never seen on an adults face & never want to see agen. I rember spending that afternoon & the following day sitting front of the tv with my family watching the news as they replayed the crash over & over

My friends dad was on the 1st plane, he was coming home for her birthday, 9-11 That was an awful day, i will never forget it . RIP

  • That's moving. It's odd how no mater what age you are you pick up these small details which will haunt you forever. I was seven when this happened I'd just got back from school (i'm from the UK) and starred at the television, it seemed like the first time of which i'd properly realized the extent of the horrific and evil events that take place in this world that we live in. My heart goes out to your friend and her family, & all those who suffered as a result of the attacks on this dreadful day.

  • When I came home from school I thought I was watching the preview for a new movie. Took me about two blinks of my eyes to figure out it wasn't.

  • @spsailorgirl I'm so sorry for all those who suffered, directly and indirectly. I think those that are responsible should face justice, but I also believe that the current state of affairs is not the best way to do it. God willing these geo-political games will end soon and there will be less reason for resentment on both sides.

  • @spsailorgirl

i was in the 4th grade

  • @spsailorgirl on that plane he would be wishing your family I will never forget you...I feel your pain

  • @spsailorgirl

    i was in 4th grade.

im sorry to hear about ur friends father

    WE DIDNT DESERVE THIS! EVER!

ima do something for the towers and for the people to listen to me on how i feel and them.

  • @spsailorgirl - Give her my condolences.

  • @spsailorgirl i was 3 and i was waching disney channel when it happiend i had family there

  • @marthkid1 I was 19, what's your point?

  • @MathewOeschger what??

  • @marthkid1 Meaning, who cares how old and I were? as if it means anything.

  • @MathewOeschger it means i'm remembering 9/11 and where i was and if u dont care than o well

  • It fell just like a jungo tower

  • lol Sears Tower... Crazy ass day

  • I feel so sad for ALL people who lives un USA :( I'm from sweden and everybody were very very sad this day. We talked about it the hole day in school

  • I remember I was in pre-school when this happend. My teachers jaws were open and hands on their mouths. I didnt no what had happend but i saw people running down the street and i began to cry. My teachers took us outside and waited for our parents to pick us up. When i got back home my T.V was on CNN and my mom was watching intensly. I watched with her to not knowing what whas happening and just looking at a huge fireball and a lot of smoke.

  • i'm canadian also team and saying that 9/11 was an inside job and that your hapy 3000 peple were murdered brings great shame to our nation.

even though i live in Canada September 11, 2001 was one of the worst days of my life....

  • being from Toronto myself, 9/11 was nothing short of a disaster, still remember the odd quietness downtown, it was surreal to say the least

  • @bauer1ctu look up "building 7 controlled demolition" & tell me its not an inside job.

  • @Locke1217 Yep building 7.........the building engulfed in rampant flames(that they conveniently leave out in your video) and had the entire corner of the structure taken out by damage(also conveniently left out)........gee wiz. COMMON SENSE FAIL

  • Wow, it's really sad that this happened when I was little because I didn't hear of the World Trade Centers until after they collapsed :(.

  • Curtis, you are no longer thought of an American. It was done by a part of the muslim community. It is a proven fact. You need to do a little more research before you talk shit. Bush was a great president. Thank you very much. You are a jerk.

  • real talk. canadians know whats right.. americans are brainwashed into what their parents, presidents, and teachers say. BELIEVE WHAT YOUR EYES AND EARS SAY. dont be fucking stupid, and do a little research other than fox news.

IF YOU BELIEVE MUSLIMS DID IT THEN IM HAPPY 3000 PEOPLE DIED.

  • how can we miss this?

  • Bush definitely did NOT do it. How stupid can you be to think that.

  • What kind of person are you. Its people like you that think everything is a conspiracy. You need to think harder before you talk.

  • And you believe everything on the internet. If you know everything about it how bought you come here and tell everyone.

  • notice how quickly reporters are using words such as "terrorists", "attacks", "hijacking" and then throwing out the name Osama bin Laden. and it just so happens that Bush was safely here in Florida.

  • the goverment did it

  • you're kidding, right?

  • how?

  • For the men of women of the September Eleventh, Thousand One terrorist attacks, Rest in Peace

  • I was in the 6th grade on that day, and I remember everything very vividly. My mother was scheduled to work at the Pentagon that day. She used to work for the Pentagon police. On this day, Lord knows my long-obsession with the news saved her life that day. Had I not turned on the news, as I did every morning, before leaving for school, she wouldn't have seen the attacks on the WTC, therefore, she would have found it okay to go to work at the Pentagon. That day affected everyone!

  • isnt the sears tower now trump tower or something???

  • willis tower, but it will always be known as the sears tower.

  • I think trump tower just finished being built. I lived in Chicago a few years ago and it was over half done then. I think it's the second tallest in the city.

  • Back in 2001, we were watching CNN as this developed... Everything and everyone went silent for a moment when people around me and me included noticed the blue sky right where the tower once stood.

That was the moment when we realized nothing would ever be the same again.

  • A woman 6 houses down the street from me lost her life in the trade center. I was young but I remember everything I did that day. I could smell the smoke in my N.J. back yard. I wanted to enlist in the army but I was told I couldnt so I became a firefighter. I serve my country and comunity that way. Every 2nd thursday of the month we have a moment of silence at my fire dept. for the 343 firefighters (my brothers and sisters) who lost their life on that horrible day.

  • God bless you.

  • i woz greatly affectted from 9/11 and im not american im from the uk

  • Comment removed

  • I don't like Aaron Brown at all, but in his defense, he is many many miles away. All he saw was dust. He wasn't watching through the lens of a tv camera with zoom like we were.

  • thats the most stupiest reporter ever! how can he not know that the one of the world trade centers just collapased?!?or hes just blind -_-...

  • just shut up please

  • why wasn't it obvious that it collapsed? He keeps saying "there's a thick plume of smoke" but was it not OBVIOUS the building collapsed???

  • In his defense, his mind probably wasn't telling him what his eyes were seeing. Our minds will lie to us when we see something completely out of the ordinary.

  • this commentor is stupeid

rip people of world trade center*

  • i was in france and i was 6, i saw the people jumping.. :(. Must have ben horrible the last minutess they lived, kept doing nightmares ... think about it, put yourselves in there places...

  • yeah...and then put youself in baghdad and think about what families there have been going through for the last 8 years

  • Not all Americans wanted to go to war.

    I certainly didn't.

    So don't generalize us.

  • He can't tell the diffeence between a partial collapse and a complete collapse. I'll admit I'm no expert on these kinds of things but I can tell the difference between the two.

  • this made me cry, even living in canada it makes a cascade of agner and sadness come in when i see this. My heart goes out to the people who lost someone

  • If we ever find osama, each American gets to get a shot of kicking that fuckface in the nuts.

If we dont find him we all know that one day he will be burning in hell which will make me a very happy man.

  • i'm with ya man. when he does get caught he should get the shit beat out of him by every american.

  • Americans aren't the only people to be affected by this.

  • @LOLZMANG

Americans love to be victimized and use it as an excuse to flex their arm.

  • admukai: families of victims get 2 shots for each family member lost.

  • when everyone was evacuated, where did they go?

  • i'm pretty sure they were sent out about 2-3 miles or more where there are buildings or shelters or something like that

  • enough with blaming Jews you skin headed bastards

  • you fucking piece of shit.

  • CNN had the best coverage without a doubt. Clealy showing how horrying this event was.

  • Why the background is so WHITE. Damn! That should be a sunny day!!

  • What do ya mean?

Do you believe in TV FAKERY's theories?

  • Remember all of the wild rumors that were flying (understandably) on that day? CNN reported the Washington Mall was on fire, and I don't remember where I heard it on that day, but it also was reported that a plane went down in the middle of Boston. As bad as 9/11 was, thank God those rumors were just that...rumors.

  • CNN is human, and they can't make wild claims as freely as viewers can
