Dude,WC I is a very very very old game,way back then...wow didnt even exsist,by "wecloming" us to the world of warcraft,he actually meant welcome to the Warcraft Universe,not the crappy game that ruined BLizzards greatest invention-Warcraft and its amazing lore.

Blizzard is through with running 2 strategy game franchises with the complexity of making games these days, no WC4.
By judge definition, popular demand and my own opinion, World of Warcraft is literally more than 10 times better than it's predecessor games.
World of Warcraft did not "ruin" lore, it continued the lore, mad fan girls on their periods usually use that argument that WoW "ruined" lore. The only difference is that now you experience the lore first hand.

@Delta0prative In case you didn't read I played Warcraft 2 and 3. Not to mention Warcraft has ALWAYS been a fantasy genre, again, you're just butt hurt because it's no longer the RTS genre. Fantasy means Blizzard can do whatever the fuck they want with it and it would be appropriate so long as it fits the storyline and the fantasy genre. If you're going to go ahead and mock the FANTASY idea of animal humanoids rather than take it as a serious idea, then you'll never get out from the troll bridge
@GnomereganGnetwork OR most of us classic Warcraft fans (myself included, still have Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, Warcraft II (and the expansion), Warcraft III (and the expansion), but never bought World of Warcraft (played it at a friend's, hated it). Why? Because it destroyed everything that I love of Warcraft. It's the best way to give a big middle finger to the loyal fan base by changing the genre, charging outrages monthly fees and just setting everything in the same relative universe.
@Delta0prative What's wrong with Werewolfs (Worgens) and Walrus (Tuskar)? If you have played Warcraft 3 you'll see they are in there. It's the lore! It was written before WoW was made so... these aren't new ideas. Blizzard usualy use old and classic ideas like... Cho'gall. They are going to make him a raid boss in Cata. You played him in Warcraft 2. Blizz doesnt create new racials or new storyline if it isnt in the lore. Most of the time...
I'm sure it wasn't, when they made O&H they didn't even plan War2 not to mention WoW (plus there was not technology in the 90's that was capable of making WoW).
