And I always got back to heroin! You really need to want to get clean, or there are no treatment on earth that works! I took a long time to really want to get clean, and if that is the case, with professional help, with friends and family, you can get your life back! I'm the living proof!

I already had an heroin addiction too, and I always did the "ritual" as clean as possible, and if possible, always at home where I could be comfortable and with everything I need (alcohol, new needles, without people that I don't even know around me, etc...). But I know how it is, when you are really bad, you want to fix as fast as you can, and you end choosing places that you normally didn't use! =(
Anyway, now I'm on buprenorphine too! It keeps me away from heroin!

It's very difficult to come on heroine. You can fuck for hours, though. Litterally for like four to five hours. When you get clean, you can come like nine times in a row. But the first few shots are like seconds or minutes.

@Meow116 I don't know for sure as it kind of just jumps in at that point, but I would almost say that he is jones'ing, in need of a shot. Once he gets some dope in him, he'll probably be fine. I would shake and sweat; just be totally uncoordinated while waiting for my morning hit. I couldn't drive straight before I got my fix, but after I was fine. Could be too that he is mixing/speedballing coke or meth with his dope.

@TheXXLethal An addction like this can start out as something simple as getting prescribed Vicoden or percocets for pain. 50% or those people are going to like the effects from the pills so much that theyre going to want more of it after their doc stops prescribing them pain meds, even if they take the pills as prescribed by the doc. If you've got an addictive personality, you'd be surprised how easy it is to get hooked on something that gives you pleasure, no matter how smart you may be.

Everyone who uses opiates will eventually suffer the withdraw symptoms of physical dependency. That is the definition of dependency. Addiction on the other hand consists of cravings, abuse and insane behavior in pursuit of the substance. With proper medical help and supervision, no one needs to suffer as so many do in this day and age.

@demoballa You are right! Unfortunately that isn't as simple as it looks! I'm talking as an ex-heroin addict, and although I'm clean for more then 4 years, I went to lots of treatments, rehabs, etc.. And I always got back to heroin! You really need to want to get clean, or there are no treatment on earth that works! I took a long time to really want to get clean, and if that is the case, with professional help, with friends and family, you can get your life back! I'm the living proof!

I already had an heroin addiction too, and I always did the "ritual" as clean as possible, and if possible, always at home where I could be comfortable and with everything I need (alcohol, new needles, without people that I don't even know around me, etc...). But I know how it is, when you are really bad, you want to fix as fast as you can, and you end choosing places that you normally didn't use! =(
Anyway, now I'm on buprenorphine too! It keeps me away from heroin!

It's very difficult to come on heroine. You can fuck for hours, though. Litterally for like four to five hours. When you get clean, you can come like nine times in a row. But the first few shots are like seconds or minutes.
