just perfect as i imagine the master who wrote it would have played it. some versions i have heard seem to rushed. warm and passionate. music for the guitar gets no better.
Jim. Great. Really has the vibe of the masters. UI spent hours on this piece, and never managed to get it at the level I wanted. Wow you studied with Segovia, Incredible.
although the Alhambra is/was uniquely placed as the centrepiece of Moorish religious philosophy in Andalucía, there are other alczabas in and around the region, that provide equal amounts of awe and wonder.
One example that springs to mind is the alcazaba in Almería. It is remarkably similar ten suerte
Very very nice. I just mastered this song tonight.
Your version is one of my favorites, every note crisp and clean - crystal clear.
I also like the versions of Liona Boyd, Charo, Xuefei Yang and Kaori Muraji - but mostly because they are quite pretty and have a nice soft touch which goes well with this beautiful piece. :)
Very nice music and pictures.. Thanks for sharing.. After being there 5 months ago; its wonderful 2 see those fabulous places again..
Jetais et je suis toujours sous le charme de ce monument; le moins que l'on puisse dire MERVEILLEUX.. s'il se trouve que vous sejournez ou que de passage à Grenade; alors Alhambra est un Must!
Jim please advice me something to make my Left hand more stable as i am self taught , i am unable to maintain Knuckle pressure at some positions esp after changing some chords (not all)
Play very relaxed. Also, practice in the dark and listen to every note and phrase, always improve. Like my teacher Segovia said, "I was always my own best student and worst critic."
I will be taking on some students in the Oregon area of the USA. If you would like to study with me, please send an email to: jimmyguitar@juno(dot)com
Above all praise!

One of the greatest interpretation of "Recuerdos" I have ever heard...Good tone, and not too fast.
But two Drift sound is not very clear.
