  • MUST READ -- The Law of The Jungle - Oct, 31 2006

    heathlander.wordpress com/2006/10/31/the-law-of-the-jungle-2/

"Wherever law ends, Tyranny begins." --- John Locke

"if the powerful don't want peace, there won't be peace. There can be no better example of this than the Israel/Palestine conflict."

"...weak states have no legal protection against aggression by the powerful, as Nicaragua discovered to its dismay in 1986."

  • 2 days to Ramadan..... wow im gonna starve but at least i can try to quit smoking. wish all those taking part in the fast and those who are not an eventful and enlightening month. Furthermore, Rosh Hashanah will probably also start at the beginning of the month of ramadan and i wish all taking part the guidance and enlightenment they seek whilst planning their new year.

  • Good Luck during Ramadan and I hope fast wont be too hard. It's Rosh HaShana eve today, Wed. Lets hope the next yr will be a lot more peaceful than the last and that we all receive enlightenment as you say. God Bless all :)

  • News - 11.9. 1.32am: Qassam hits Zikkim area. First reports state approx 15 ppl injured.

  • I was going to mention this, but from my understanding this qassam hit a military base. If it is Hamas, or even islamic jihad, i hope that this indicates a turn away from indiscriminate attacks on civilians.

  • I only heard today that it was military base. The Islamic Jihad got "lucky" as qassams cannot be aimed and are fired willy-nilly in a general direction, usually hitting civillian areas. If Israel now makes incursion into Gaza to prevent these launchings, the Pals will again claim they are being tortured.

  • I saw Tim Marshall reporting on Sky News about qassams, saying from beg of year over 1000 had been launched into Israel. He said any country after such a barrage would say "How are we gonna stop this??" He described the dilema of Israel not wanting to go back into Gaza, but of the govts responsibility to protect its citizens.

  • deen - I dont think the split between Hamas & Fatah will last long. Hamas will not recognize Israel or its goal to achieve Palestine "from river to sea", that is INSTEAD OF Israel. Therefore, I cant see how peace is achievable. The arms given to Abu Mazen will be pointed at us Israelis again.

  • you may be right, however, their are stark differences between hamas and fatah. In my own personal opinion, i would much rather prefer one state as it once was. call me moderate or whatever, but in my own opinion if niether arab nor israeli will be happy with a 2 state solution, why not create a federal system where both israeli and paestinian get equal rights?

  • As you know Israel is populated by Jews & Arabs. I think the Pals shud have their own state in G&WB. There is too much bad blood for it all to become 1 country. You saw for yourself what happened between Hamas & Fatah so imagine what would happen if Jews were in the middle.

  • Shalom wa'alaykum.....

Can all please respect other peoples opinion, ive only uploaded these vids to stimulate discussion. any obscene messages, whether directed against muslims or jews, will be deleted and user blocked. Thnx

  • deemishpie - discussion wud also be stimulated if you showed both sides of the story. Where there are negative actions, there are negative consequences. Before the intifada, Palestinians worked freely in Israel. Their lives are by far worse now. The only ones who have prospered are the Pal leaders, as usual who eat like kings.

  • I do agree with you there, yes life was far possibly far better. Although, i cannot make such comments as i am not a palestinian. Furthermore, you are right as its the current leaders of the PLO who are eating like kings, and i should add are currently being supported by israel. In reference to showing both sides of the story, i would love to but it is difficult without the content.

  • I am niether a producer nor a historian. but im happy that this video is stimulating people to add their own opinions to stimulate discussion.

  • I'm sure Haniyah is eating like a king as well. Arafat had billions of dollars, his widow Suha receives 22 miliion a year. What do the Pal ppl receive?

  • I do not believe Ismail Haniya is eating like a king from money that belongs to the people, as they are practically bankrupt due to the sanctions. Whereas, PLO still receives and spends funding and taxes as it wishes

  • "The Islamist group is subsidized by Iran, Damascus and other Arab and Muslim states. Suitcases full of banknotes pass through the Rafah crossing. The Islamist lords of Gaza will no more be starved into submission than Iran is cowed by sanctions to give up its nuclear ambitions.

    cont..

  • .../

Hamas' masked gunmen can be seen every day smartly outfitted in clean black uniforms, brandishing new weapons with no shortage of ammunition and carrying personal gear in top condition. These sinister fighters are professional and disciplined. None look underfed." Debka

  • Both sides of story & content - I wud like you to watch the videos I have favourited(by clicking on my name). These vids show the other side.

  • Will do :D

  • end - No they didnt drop ammo dumbo - they released fuel tank to gain speed. Whoops, again you dont know what you're talking about!

  • you stupid moron those empty fuel tanks and not necessarily always empty can cause fatalities on ground, and,in any case the purpose was served invasion of another nations soverign airspace and resulting destabilisation of region as pointed out by someone else, deenish i expect this ass hole to continue cursing what do you advice me to do?

  • Salam Adeel, My advice is to not fall to another persons level, it just goes to show you are no different. Remember, god loves those who are forgiving and patient. nonetheless, both your and Afaseks postings are are obscene. But i expect you both to appreciate other viewers wishes to not have to come across obscenity on such a critical issue. Any more from either will result in a ban. so please just be human and not animals

  • deen - Your wish is granted :)

I'll respond to your civil posts shortly.

  • israel has to be the only nation that "defends"itself in another nations territory they actually occupy the land of another nation and then complain that they get "attacked" by those who they occupy!

  • adeel - where do u see "another nation". What "other nation"? Let Jordan take back West Bank & Egypt take back Gaza!! The trouble is - they dont want the fuckers in their countries!!

  • listen mother fucker, and notice you bastard you started the obscene language here the other nation would be palestine as recognised by the UN in the same charter which gave rise to israel.apologies deenish.

  • adeel - The Arabs could have had their own country in '48 but they REJECTED the UN plan for 2 countries. Now whose fault is that??

  • No mention at all of Palestinian terror, suicide bombings, etc. This is a very one-sided view of the reality.

Personally, as an Israeli, I support settlers evacuating Hebron completely and for soldiers to pull out. Many soldiers have been killed protecting these fanatics.

  • palestinian terror a result of children abused by soldiers remembering growing up and picking up arms against those who abused them of children seeing their fathers beaten up by israeli soldiers in front of them in their own homes of seeing and sensing the poverty futility of their lives imposed on them by the occupiers and worst of all seeing it expressed by their parents

  • adeel - No its the same kind of terror we see being carried out all over the world by Muslems. If they didnt terrorize amd blow other ppl up,there wud be no need to apply so many restrictions on them.

  • the terror you mention is gureilla warfare used by forces that are not an organised army just like the terror tactics which included blowing up of civilian targets and killing of civilians by other means by haganah the jewish terrorist organisation which included people like menachem begin pre 1948,you dumb son of a bitch, again apologies deenish

  • adeel - It was the Arabs who went on the killing rampage from beginning. Massacred Jews in Hebron, Kfar Etzion etc. If they had only agreed to 2 states they wud have saved all these yrs of bloodshed.

  • would you agree to a complete withdrawel of israeli settlers and soldiers from all palestinian land, in accordance with pre-1967 borders???

Btw, terrorism in your eyes is freedom fighting in another. did you know the germans called the french resistance terrorists??????

  • deenishpe - What has happened in Gaza since Israel completely withdrew soldiers and forcibly ejected settlers from their homes? Israeli towns around Gaza are barraged w/qassam rockets every day!! Now, what wud happen if Israel withdrew completely from WB?

  • you mention the word "every day" and that is far from the truth. with all due respect, it is those who exagerate who cause more problems. the last qassam rocket which was launched was on the 4 sept, 5 months after a self declared ceasefire by hamas that held even whilst israel was still launching airstrikes throughout that period. furthermore, the launch on 4 sept was after an israeli air stike which killed 6 hamas freedom fighters on aug 20. please refer to reuters and worldnetdaily for facts

  • So given this, i believe that if israel did withdraw completely from the westbank to pre-1967 borders, then more better things can come of it. Nevertheless, that is only possible if people who are israeli's and palestinians make a combined effort to realise such a peace initiative and push hardliners to the back of the forum where they belong.

  • 5.9 - qassam south of Zikkim. 6.9 - two qassams: 1 falling nxt to school. 7.9 - 2 mortars damage to house. 9.9 - 1 near kibbutz.

This is apart from shootings, many mortars, molotov cocktails at Israeli vehicles, throwing rocks, etc. reuters and wnd may not record every incident.

  • deen - If you think qassam launched on Sept 4 was 1st in 5 months you are completely wrong! I dont know what reuters reports, but on first day back to school 2.9 there were 2 qassams, 3.9 = 7/with 12 nursery school children treated for shock. 4.9= 1. Qassams are launched literally every day or almost every day.

  • You may be right, but for my own reference i would be grateful if you could refer me to a reputable news organisation that will state this. What i am trying to find out is who is behind the attack. Is it islamic jihad, a Fatah affiliated organisation or Hamas. i am searching for Hamas related attacks.

  • I looked up a Hebrew site which details every qassam, mortar shell, molotov cocktail, etc. on a ticker basis. It was while I was looking figures up last night that I saw qassams had fallen at 1.30. There were 69 injuries. I.J. usually claim responsibility but I think Hamas are very happy with each launching.

  • then please quote where you got these from. reuters is well known for its reporting standards and especially its coverage of ME affairs. otherwise you would leave me with no alternative that u are either quoting incorrectly or in terms of incorrect date

  • Source: Sorry I've tried to find a site in English that lists each qassam attack but had no luck. The Hebrew one I quoted has a calender, so you can choose a date and see all the headlines from that day. It also gives info on where rockets fell.

  • Furthermore, and im sure you would agree, that many of those who wish to oppose a certain system found as oppresive will fight back, or react to use the appropriate term, with whatever methods at their disposal. Palestinians do not have tanks and warplanes to cause "collateral damage".. besides, suicide defence is not alien to judaism as from what i remember a prophet killed himself and his enemies in a collapsing temple.

  • deenishpie - No, I cant condone suicide bombings whether it be in Israel, London, Madrid, New York or wherever. And as for the prophet - Samson was chained up and about to be murdered.

  • whether he was about to be killed or not, doesnt change the fact that he died by taking his own life, suicide.. the same goes for muslims, blowing up one self in order to inflict damage on an enemy is still suicide, as there is no chance of survival.

  • Of course there is a chance of survival. These ppl are recruited to carry out these actions. Those who did so in London were born and raised in Britain, not living hard lives.

  • A suicide attack in its own definition dictates no chance of survival, hence the word suicide. anything where one willingly cuts short their own lifespan = suicide.

  • where's part 4?

  • when you put the new version right next to here
