I read the watchmen a year ago. Fantastic. Moore recently said he wouldn't see this (fill in the blank with swears) movie. I don't blame him. Watchmen was brilliant and to make this a movie is insulting. It needs to be a mini series but that will never happen (IMHO)

I'll provide the info. Watchmen is considered by many comic book readers the ultimate graphic novel and Alan Moore's (V for Vendetta, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, From Hell, The Killing Joke) best work. Basically a must read.

I read the Watchmen and I loved it. Moore at his best. The movie is going to butcher the material simply because the story is too complex for 2 hours (or whatever the set time frame is for the film)

The only thing that scares me about the music is the last time that DC used that song in one of it's trailers (albeit it was the other version of it) , it was for Batman and Robin. Hope it doesn't curse this movie as well ;)
