i'm a fox family member, i never knew about this, we are from amherts nova scotia, i wonder if there is any relation you guys have the best show i've found in a long time, are you still on TV?
I'm thinking about going here with my girlfriend in a few weeks. Is it worth it? Is it just a scam put on by lazy old people who can't live on just social security? And how much does a seance or reading session usually cost?
I've seanced in Cassadaga as research for my novel and I must say, the ritual is quite different from how it is portrayed here. The novel comes out in January 2010. Read chapter one on my space. /interstategeneration
i jusat played a softball game in the town right next to cassadaga i live about 15 mintues away and never knew about it creepy (mom said i ve been through there a few time?)
Used 2 go there every week for Eloise's Deeply Inspired class on Natural Law.
Not all "mediums" work from the same level, those who trance R astral in nature & their sources can be highly questionable. Those who work centered in soul energy, intuitionally, R clear & True but will not be "telling fortunes". They can, tho', pass on 2 you what 'your soul' would wish you 2 be working with on the Way of Life 2 ever expanding Universal Inclusiveness, if you would only listen & LET it BE.
I've been to Cassadaga several times since we live a few miles from it now. I've been in some of these things and can say, they are real. I've seen it with my own two eyes working with others that had no experience with it either. I've seen the mediums that give a reading and it is so far from the truth but I've also seen the mediums that give a reading and hits everything right on the nail. Once I was a skeptic but no longer!
The spirit told him to get a property down Florida? Ah, no wonder we are so over burden with snow birds! lol Just kidding. My boyfriend and I will be visiting Cassadaga at the end of this month. This will be a real treat!
It's ashame that Spiritualism is not as popular as it once was. I realize the natural inclination is to try and discredit anything out of the ordinary but there is far too much evidence that there are in fact real mediums.
Actually, there really isn't much else to the story. You can see the conclusion of the segment though if you watch our video for the Winchester Mystery House. The intro to that piece shows us walking out of the Cassadaga church after our table shaking seance.
I didn't realize Cassadaga was a real place! The band Bright Eyes has an album called "Cassadaga" and part of the lyrics to the song "Four Winds" on that album goes "Well, I went back to my rented Cadillac and company jet/Like a newly orphaned refugee, retracing my steps/All the way to Cassadaga to commune with the dead/They said, "You'd better look alive"
