Metallica has made some of the best metal ballads and it's not because i haven't broadened my horizon that's just my music taste i like the old metal better than the new. I respect others music taste.

Testament's ballads are way better than Metallica... especially having Chuck Billy on the vocal instead of country music singer James Hetfield is necessary for a good ballad.
