You don't really have to guard that much against Kuma, you can just rush him with long killer combos and he probably won't even get a chance to touch you.

Squarex 3, trianglex 3, square x4 (Afro Hurricane+Matador+Heart Attack or something like that?) if I remember correctly and Kuma will be on his knees in no time :)

i founded the open area battle to be quite easy. just push block all the time and whack X + B all the time except when kuma dashes away and comes swinging towards you

Dude has no idea what hes doing lol for the first 4 fights when he pulls his hand back to attack hit block just a little early..itll parry, then let go and block again and heel recoil enough to get a guarunteed 4 hit combo ...done right you wont get hit at all... 3-2 fight you can combo two quick and a focus horizontal attack... 3-3 no idea lol.

God dang this boss is hard in Number One Headband mode... I've found that the only way to consistently hit him is to bait him into dashing/counter-attacking by fake focus slashing and/or dashing at him at an angle. And to be able to hit him after that you need to ensure that you use different combos every time or he'll start blocking them automatically.

The way I beat Kuma was by being extremely aggressive; I constantly bombarded him with huge combos, never giving him the chance to fight back. If he somehow did manage to sneak a few moves in, it didn't really matter since you gain health back as you beat the crap out of him.

The only time I died was during the 3rd fight in the wide open space, and that was because I kept on getting the block and focus buttons mixed up.

I'm sorry but whoever is playing this sucks. Not even parrying kumas attacks when you can see them coming a mile away. Even on hard mode I beat him with taking very very little damage. If you use some of the fathers legacy moves you can get massive damage off of him.

One time when i was fighting kuma he did the little whirlwhind thing but he didn't disappear he just ran around. So i slapped him around and then he did it again. I also noticed that when he does the whirlwind he jumps in the air to disappear. I learned something from this video hahaha!

Heres a good tactic for poeple stand a good distance away from him so that if u press the kick butten u hit the air 4 times, then carry on kicking but steer into him and ull hit him every time and repeat this

Not going to lie. This fight was pretty difficult on #1 headband. After a couple hits you use on him he does a spinning sword move while standing and then jumps and spins attack. Which will just about kill you or put you 1 hit away from dying in #1 headband. 1st stage, use YYYXXXYYY hold Y ... 2nd stage .. run around and when he charges his sword to lunge at you kick him andthen use the above combo. Stage 3 is just about the same, this fight is fun.
