if you watch Shawn of the dead the whole garden sequence, its the same sequence on hot fuzz only on shawn of the dead he fails on purpose for it to be more comical.

on shawn of the dead he jumps over the over fences and trampolines over one. on hot fuzz he does it all in one go and his partner fails :) if you watch both films theres lots of refferences. like the fruit machience during the end fight. i plays that song thing like on shawn of the dead when they tell ed not to and unplug it.

I got both films on as DVD and one on iTunes, this showed it in the same order of how i watched them. I still find it funny. I love it when PC.Butterman (Danny) just trips into it. Ever notice that the fence he ran into was shorter than the ones on the same fence.
