It's that American car companies design n build their cars cheap. More shit they take out, less you have to pay. If you got the money, you can get a mustang that'd probably be just as good as a BMW. But because Americans like things cheap. American car companies don't add all the excess capabilities a Merc or BMW have. They give you the car, engine, seats, steeringwheel, and tires. Besides the Mustang, Camaro, Charger, Corvette, etc. are far better because its the engine you hear, not a muffler.

Personally, I view the Mustang as a musclecar, but because anti-fucking Americans who live in America want to buy some European busy tuner shit, American car companies are redesigning to fit in that category and appeal to their taste. Any American car can be just as good as European...

Let's face it we American's don't know how to make a good sports car. Mustang still has a live axle (I think they had those 100 years ago). Even the new model looks flimsy. For the money I would rather get a BMW 1 series.
