don't forget that the color of the paper and kind of paper is adding to the art as well it creats an effect that you can't get from just drawing it.............

I use Derwent pastel pencils, Derwent blocks, and Faber-Castell Pitt pastel pencils. The surface I'm drawing on is velour paper and is very good with softpastels.
wow this is incredible :) i try to do pastel pictures with not a chalky pastel sorta like a crayon and it turns out horrible you have a nice attention for detail, keep it up :)
I use a small web camera; It's a Logitech quickcam, and I've got it mounted on a tripod. It's standing in front of me when I work and I'm carefull not to touch it; Not an easy thing but it is dooabel.
The camera is cheep and very small, but I think that it's doing an okay job. :)

I have the exact same pencils, but I cant do anything like that...I think mine must be broken =P
What colors did you use on the fur, just black, white and grey? I cant believe how real it looks.

I've been drawing with pastels sins 2005, but before that i've always just painted sins I was a child, (i'm 27 years old now)
I have never taken any classes, but i've seen a lot of videos and read some books.

i use normal blank paper like a sketch book type nothing fancy the pastes sort of like a refined crayon
