  • As an ex-boxer and a lover of the sport to this day this documentary hits home. I see things in this documentary that I see in myself and it was hard to watch at times. This documentary is a must see, one of the best boxing documentaries out there. I highly recommend donating although it is hard during this great recession we are in. We boxed because of different reasons we have only ourselves to contend with but I always believe in helping others.

  • @wgw001 where can u watch it online ?

  • The trailer is good, the documentary is bullshit.

  • @HellsHighwayTrooper lol it's true dude seriously . . . :)

  • I'm selling a DVD on Ebay if anyone is interested. It's on for another 10 days.

  • When is this coming out?

  • Modern day gladiators...Are you not entertained?!?

  • really want to see this film, to the guy complaining about quality id be more worried about them even beign able to distribute it for someone to rip it for your downloading pleasure. tbh i doubt this project ever sees the light of day. unfortunate. and imo it makes sense on a conspiracy level as when bad things happen in nfl, boxing and now mma the camera will cut away off the damage and have the victim magically disappear, airbrushed for a sanitized future full of lollipops and rainbows.

  • Anon!

What is this sound/where is it from at 0:39-0:42?

It is also featured at the "Reckless Tortuga"-channel.

    Would greatly appreciate!

  • it's sad that a movie company like satellite pictures is not able to upload a high definition version of this trailer. they aren't even able to upload a low definition trailer without windows sounds in the audio track.

keep on treating platforms like this with you low def content. i'm off to download the next movie..

  • This is a well made and on-point documentary about the brutality of the hard, cold business of Boxing.

We, as spectators, think of it as a "sport"...as we love it - yet, we don't see the dear price that is paid, by the fighter and his family.

"After The Last Round" gives you that look inside, and for those shattered families there is no sport, no art, no beauty - just an ugly reality.

  • @rbfnjmike

Nobody forced them to keep on fighting till their 40s.

I see no bigger risk in Boing then American Football if he hang them up at the right time!

  • Ali didn't get the way he is from boxing. He has Parkinson's disease, which one is BORN WITH.

  • @99mxylptlk Ali was technically diagnosed with Pugilistic Parkinson's syndrome or Pugilistic Parkinsonism. That is easy to look up. It is a common misconception that he has the disease like Michael J Fox. Every major boxing physician in the film including the man who wrote the book on boxing and the brain (Dr. Robert Cantu) confirms this in the film.

  • I dont know where you can watch this video , but you should see it, it is sad, but very interesting.

  • Ali and Meldrick Taylor are the most glaring examples I can think of, when it comes to brain damage from boxing. But, there are thousands of others. It is not a YES or NO thing. Getting hit in the head is going to kill brain cell. It just depends on how many are killed and what other damage happens to your brain.

  • Where can I see / buy this? Please help!

  • Sweet vid rainman, sounds brutal.

  • nice!
