Classic animes like Pokemon OS(Original Series) DB, DBZ Digimon Adventure/ 02 were epic im just a sucker for classics. had very little fillers imo! dbz story is pretty deep especially if you look at the timeline on dizenshu.
Also akira toriyama was making dbz as he goes along he didnt plan most of the show so if you take that into consideration that makes dbz even more epic.
Naruto gives alot of depth, infact it likes to put emphasis on it so much, i remember seeing the sameflack in like 6 different episode which lasted 20min. not to mention the 100 ep + filler.

I like DBZ because of the art, that is my favorite thing about it. I think it wouldn't be as good if it looked like most other anime. Plus it's super agressive and epic. I like the idea of having even one pure fighting series.

Neither of these shows are great. I hold DBZ to great nostalgia but still neither are great. As far as I'm concerned the only long anime thats that great is One Piece. The small shows are the best. If you want a true great anime watch Gurren Lagann, Soul Eater, Black Butler, or Full Metal Alchemist.

Simply put neither show is really all that deep, I enjoy both very much and all the fans for both sides claims ones better than the other. Keep it simple both shows have their high points and their low points and some decent action. this isn't rocket science people. They take place in very different universes and actually have very similar story lines. Naruto has a deep surface value take it for what it is attitude. and DBZ has Deep undertones. but basically same storyline different universe.

I've seen some fights In Naruto that were dragged out way too long while some were good. There were also many fights In DBZ that were good. Compare Dragonball Z to street fighter or something. Or Naruto to Shaman King or any other adventure based shows. It would make more sense.

Ive seen the entire frieza storyline, you know the fights were(I know I'm gona get yelled at here) to overpowered. Just TOO crazy. Naruto has, better fights and a better story. If Naruto fought Goku, Narutos gona die. I like Naruto better because of better story because of better fights. The best fight sometimes don't come from the strongest fastest people. If the fight is just going to be blinking lights fighting each other, it sucks. The fights that are the best are tactical, not overpowered.

Naruto turns philosophical by showing how characters like pain can be corrupted because of all of the tragic events corrupting his point of view on how to obtain true peace in the world. A hidden meaning present in Naruto is creating peace and how it aligns with morals on how to obtain it. This means what would be a positive method of bringing peace.
I personally think itachi's story is far deeper then Vegeta's or at least far more original. Vegeta's story has been done before, his story is that of the villain set out on a path of redemption. It's one of the classics in literature. Whereas Itachi's story for me was something I never encountered before not one of the classical settings of betrayal and deceit comes near it. It was like 90 % originality, where vegeta’s story is like 20 % originality. Vegeta had some great development
don’t get me wrong on that but it wasn’t anything new to me after having have read all the classical roman, greek and britannian tales. In the end I think that overall Dragonball is far more original than Naruto but that Naruto has a lot more depth to it than Dragonball.
PS: I never watched either dragonball or Naruto on television when growing up. I have watched both series online (less than 4 years ago) for the first time.
Personally I like both. I like Naruto more for story but I say DBZ has much more debth. But honestly without DBZ we would not have got Naruto. DBZ was one of kishi's main influences, Naruto's original cloth were a dead give away

Classic animes like Pokemon OS(Original Series) DB, DBZ Digimon Adventure/ 02 were epic im just a sucker for classics. had very little fillers imo! I really dont understand why ppl are comparing Naruto to DBZ. I mean yea there both awesome anime shows, but DBZ is the most powerful, deep, and best anime show in the history of anime shows. Neither of these shows are great. I hold DBZ to great nostalgia but still neither are great. As far as I'm concerned the only long anime thats that great is One Piece. The small shows are the best. If you want a true great anime watch Gurren Lagann, Soul Eater, Black Butler, or Full Metal Alchemist.

Simply put neither show is really all that deep, I enjoy both very much and all the fans for both sides claims ones better than the other. Keep it simple both shows have their high points and their low points and some decent action. this isn't rocket science people. They take place in very different universes and actually have very similar story lines. Naruto has a deep surface value take it for what it is attitude. and DBZ has Deep undertones. but basically same storyline different universe.

I've seen some fights In Naruto that were dragged out way too long while some were good. There were also many fights In DBZ that were good. Compare Dragonball Z to street fighter or something. Or Naruto to Shaman King or any other adventure based shows. It would make more sense.

Like his relationship with Chi chi... he haves a day to live on earth again and he wants to spends all his day... fighting? Not even a moment with Chi Chi alone? Things like that kinda get to me, know what I mean? I felt like Chi chi is there to just be Goku's wife just for show but no deepness out of it. He is a lousy husband but a good father to Gohan at least... lol.

Wtf did he just say about bleach!!? Lol bleach has a good story but they screwed up on one of the main plots, so I guess his telling the truth, because for 25 ep of the bleach series , it got so boring that I had to skip them, but yer nice work

Ive seen the entire frieza storyline, you know the fights were(I know I'm gona get yelled at here) to overpowered. Just TOO crazy. Naruto has, better fights and a better story. If Naruto fought Goku, Narutos gona die. I like Naruto better because of better story because of better fights. The best fight sometimes don't come from the strongest fastest people. If the fight is just going to be blinking lights fighting each other, it sucks. The fights that are the best are tactical, not overpowered.

@Ralph12344 3-2 sasuke rescue arcs including another rescue arc saving gaara and then sasuke go look for itachi and leaf viliage for revenge then pains look for the 9 tails to commit genocide then naruto go fights him and madara wants to commit gencide(like taking over the world and shit) then he declare war.Exclude all those rescue arcs which makes naruto repetitive all you got is revenge,villains that want to commit genocide sounds like dbz plot but without the dragon balls.

@Samuelluv11 What Madara wants is to create peace, but in a corrupt way that involves him taking control of the world. Naruto turns philosophical by showing how characters like pain can be corrupted because of all of the tragic events corrupting his point of view on how to obtain true peace in the world. A hidden meaning present in Naruto is creating peace and how it aligns with morals on how to obtain it. This means what would be a positive method of bringing peace.

I personally think itachi's story is far deeper then Vegeta's or at least far more original. Vegeta's story has been done before, his story is that of the villain set out on a path of redemption. It's one of the classics in literature. Whereas Itachi's story for me was something I never encountered before not one of the classical settings of betrayal and deceit comes near it. It was like 90 % originality, where vegeta’s story is like 20 % originality. Vegeta had some great development

don’t get me wrong on that but it wasn’t anything new to me after having have read all the classical roman, greek and britannian tales. In the end I think that overall Dragonball is far more original than Naruto but that Naruto has a lot more depth to it than Dragonball.
PS: I never watched either dragonball or Naruto on television when growing up. I have watched both series online (less than 4 years ago) for the first time.

Naruto's deepest plot was Gaara's story, in my opinion. But not even that compares to Vegita or Piccolo.

Personally I like both. I like Naruto more for story but I say DBZ has much more debth. But honestly without DBZ we would not have got Naruto. DBZ was one of kishi's main influences, Naruto's original cloth were a dead give away
