this thing has to be a bit of a handful with such a small chassis, but definitly a cool project. now try a 250 2 stroke lol that would be a highside machine
Everthing is For Sale for the right Price, but I am not actively trying to sell it...Am working on another, Maybe when I have 2 I will be more motivated to sell 1..
yeah i know but they're just..........ya know...2 strokes. just listen to them. just smell them...the power bands, the sound, the feel.........the woody you get from hitting 3rd gear at 60mph and your eyes get pulled out of the socket...............sorry, getting a little emotional...gotta go and pull it now................
oh shit, a 450f. I hand a crf450r before i sold it to a guy in niceville florida, that bike was gnarly! I had an aftermarket exhaust and a quickshot carb thingy and oh shit that was amazing!
dont care if you put a 1000 gsxr motor in it,,you totally ruined it by not putting in a 2 stroke. i rode every type of mc imaginable for years when i lived in la. there is nothing that compares to a little kx 80 or a rd or rz or yz 125, or 80cc. they shreeek lovely.................
Says you, 2 strokes are great, but nothing beats Thumper power, that is why you rarely see 2 strokes in racing anymore, Lovely is Old Technology.. Plus it is a Rossi MGP replica & they race 4 strokes now, so it looks kind of sily with the wine of a 2 stroke.... I have a Wayne Rainey replica withb a 2 stroke.. Get the idea...?
Not to be a know it all, but if you are using the stock steel wheels, they will crack and fail with that power. I raced ysr for years in the 90', I broke a rear rim on a fifty, obviously from cornering abuse, but it eventually gave up. They make (back then) a nice aluminium wheel that we had to move to.
Nice bike BTW, and get some leathers and drag your knee, that last guy is dying to get his knee down...
Well If you Knew anything, You would have Noticed that the wheels are not YSR wheels, Nor are they made of Steel...So there you go, you don't know anything at all...
is that the stock size of those 50s or did u change the forks to make it sit higher and back shock n stuff?cuz id liek to get one and put my dt250cc dirt bike motor in it its a 2 stroke but only has 21 hp but will still be fun
What's the gearing on this?

Not so Bad... Very controleable linear Power band, unlike a 2 stroke... a 250 2 stroke would be dangerous.... I have my 450 nearly done...

is this a super pocket bike, it looks a lil bigger than a reg super pocket bike but smaller than a big bike
nfs5676 2 years ago
It is Not a Pocket Bike... It is a Yamaha YSR 50, Similar to the Honda NSR 50 & Suzuzki GSXR50.... Get it...

Good looking/sounding nice work!

I'm pretty sure GP bikes with 4-5 cylinders don't sound anything like that.
WOTboy 3 years ago
For Sure!! But I could only afford 1 cylinder... It is what it is.... GP bikes are much faster as well...
