This was in 1988—the Vince Beaurepaires ads began in 1984 or 1985. Before that, Vince Martin was selling Dunlop Tyres on NZ TV, around 1983--4.

Nah, this ad isn't from the 80s. It was shown on NZ tv somewhere in the 90s. In the 80s Vince was doing ads for Dunlop. "G'dday, this is an axe....this man slipped in the shower...." I'd love to see one of Vince's Dunlop ads if anyone has any.
