wow. I have been all over youtube looking at videos of various ppl playing this piece and this is the best one I've seen. It's like a breath of fresh air! Although there are a couple of things I would've done differently, they were very well executed and... well just really great playing! I applaud you!

one problem though - Your chromatic scale at 2:48 is wrong! go look at the score and you'll see that there is no A# and it finishes F#, F natural, E. Apart from that a superb performance. I hope the recital went as well
Agree with quackerboy, some publishing companies and revisors take pieces then add their own twist to them sometimes. Mostly bowings, but like in this and the Koussevitzky concerto (double stops, G or G# depending on the version), they actually change notes on you, what a shame!
oscar zimmerman decided to take about a good third of this piece down an octave. when i decided to listen to a recording of the elegy i was both upset at having been deceived and glad at having been saved from said deception.
