Actually, the best way to handle future actions like this would be to turn the cameras off, call the police, and wait. Similar to gunmen that shoot high profile targets. I think the Press should never print their names or agenda, just state "a 24 year old woman did (whatever)". Deny them the attention and notoriety they crave. Of course the Press would never do this, as they're in the business of selling commercial time, not reporting news.

They don't volunteer to help animals in shelters for one reason, they wouldn't be seen there. It's not about doing 'good', but about being SEEN so people believe they're doing 'good'. Clearly the money spent on their massive 'headquarters' could have been better spent, and the PETA 'officers' could easily work in less lush surroundings.
