Lyrics are what give me the biggest buzz!! Of course a good tune is important, but it becomes special when the words are right so thanks for your kind words about mine! #:-)
A very catchy track reminescint of Paul Simons style of songwriting or maybe its just your voice which reminds me of him...either way its a great track my friend. Once again.....anyone who can stand up and sing unplugged live like this is talent indeed.....Terrific all round !!!
I just stumbled onto you because this video came up as a "related video" on one of my own posts ("Girl" by the Beatles). I don't know how they're related but whatever...I like your song.
Glad to have you along Doc! And having just listened to your version of "Girl" I must say I'm flattered that you liked my little ditty. THANK YOU #:-)
I love the rhythm style of the song. I'm groovin to it. :) Just awesome! Cool lyrics too. Great song and it has hit potential if you get it to the studio. You have a wonderful great gift for songwriting like your ol' writing buddy Richard. :)
It's a shame we can't record some of these songs together with you as you have a far greater musical ability than me (and Richard, but don't tell him I said so! ha ha). Maybe one day...
Oh you're too kind! Thanks my friend! I really appreciate you saying that. :) But you guys rock and are awesome, and I feel better songwriters than me. Some of the best I've heard for great catchy pop tunes.
That would be cool to all work together, you never know, maybe one day like you said. lol And I won't tell Richard ;) haha But he knows how much I admire his music and great talents. And yours. :))
Good one mate - liked this from the moment i heard it - but you are no longer the man with no head lol - you are mr haze - anyway in true Lennon and McCartney style gonna have to post one of mine now lol
Where are you hiding all of these? It seems like they come out of nowhere. :) "My radio a haven.." I like that. So true what music can do for the soul. :)
I just turn on, tune in, and the songs just seem to drift out #:-)
I'm always interested in which part of the lyric you pick up on - oddly enough you seem to focus on my fave lines more often than not - as I think my forte is more on the lyrical side rather than the tunes.

Not bad. Lyrics are reminiscent of Queen's "Radio Ga Ga".

I am a huge Queen fan and yet, until your comment, hadn't made that connection. However, it's not the worst comparison anyone could make is it?
Hopefully I'm yet to have my finest hour! #:-)
Thanks for the comment.

Wow! Now that's some company!
If I only had 10% of his I'd be delighted, so to even be likened to him (in however small a way) is quite fantastic.
You have indeed made my day, so a big THANK YOU to you #:-)

Thank you. Hopefully I am improving and refining my solo songwriting style as time goes by.
Of course, writing some of the other songs in conjunction with Richard (dnarbbrand) is a huge motivator too.
