Really, if I may do some comparing, Raven may look & act dark, but she's like Wednesday Addams in that regard, because in the original comics for both characters (respectively, DC Comics' Titans & Charles Addams' New Yorker), both girls were nice, sensible, & WORE pink! It was not until the 90's for The Addams Family & the early 00's for the Titans that Wednesday & Raven became gothic. Both girls are like The Haunted Mansion, in that they can often be scary, but they've their silly moments too.
I find it funny that Beast Boy turns to Raven when something troubles him. Yes, he has best buddy Cyborg, good friend Starfire, and stonewall leader Robin, but it is Raven whom he turns to when he's scared (ex: hiding under her cape) or when he knows something is truly amiss. That shows something beyond just the physical aspect of their relationship. It furthers my assertion that theirs is a love beyond just the physical stuff, because Raven herself is not a touchy-feel type of person.

Does that mean the supposed boy whose brains are questionable at times ("Beast Boy has a brain?") 'got some', since he and the Mistress of Magic are a young adult comic canon couple?
