It's a shame that lots of guitarists dont use their pinkies. So what if he doesn't use his pinky, it doesn't mean that you don't have to. The pinky helps, bra!
Looking back, 4 months later, I think I can manage as good as this, which was my ideal. I can't play it at full speed, but you skipped quite a lot of notes, so if I play it this way I can manage maybe as good as this or maybe a bit less, but anyway :P

Dude, this is pretty sick, but you should use your pinky. Your playing ability will be forever hindered if you don't :o.
