The first thing I noticed when I came out the other end of the channel tunnel was the different pylon design.

I enjoy this stuff. I call them high tension power lines though. The UK towers look a little more bizarre then the standard ones in the US.

Apparently some countries require two ground wires on top, like in the US. American electrical towers (pylons to the Brits) have an extra set of arms on top that resemble ears, giving them a vaguely feline appearance.
