  • This bloke is a proper bell'end!! What the fuck is an I-pad tu ?

  • fucking thing doesn't work with the ipad camera connection kit too thick fuck!!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh it's for the iPad tu

    NOT THE IPAD 2 ?

  • @Jericho704 troll

  • @Jericho704 he just has an accent, just like i have a stupid american accent :)

  • @Jericho704 Don't be a dick...

  • I just bought one of these on Amazon for 48.10 thats with tax and shipping.

I have one on my iPhone4 as well.

    Does the job well.

Yes it makes it big and bulky but this is a 500$ device your talking about.

I would rather have it protected than not.

  • i bet griffin hates you for that video, all it shows is, that the cancel button doesnt work anymore as soon as you put the screen protector on, and even after you fully attached it, the case clearly doesnt fit around the screen

  • How do you put on the rubber part? These plastic sticks are sticking out on the case and my rubber won't "fully attach" and looks horribly disgusting. How do I put it on?

  • they should make one for my ps3

  • I detest this case in many ways: The back camera cover is extremely annoying, basically any flap is awkward, because I am used to feeling the side buttons for lock and volume, my headphones do not fit into the port, the screen protector makes an annoying tapping sound, and does not always respond to my touch, which is especially annoying while typing. This mostrosity is approved for use in Iraq, because it is resistant to sand. I am not going to be using my iPad near sand.

  • @squigy97 did u ever think of just cutting the flaps off?

  • @theip0dguru yes, that was my first thought, but since the iPad cases are owned by my school, I can't. My only solution is to rip the thing off whenever I can. I just do not like the product.

  • will this work with a zagg only the screen shield installed?

  • overall great case but I Hate the camera cover with a passion

  • How much did it cost you?

  • @SRPA11 i got the same one and it cost 80$

  • Thanks for the review. One question please: I currently have an ipad2 with already an anti glare screen protector on it. If i would install my ipad2 into this case, would the screen touch operation be affected in anyway? Would the be like a "gap" in between the built in screen protector on the actual ipad2? Thanks and appreciate your reply.

  • @MrNasilemaksedap not really.....its not like the anti glare screen protector affects touch and neither does this one, it shouldnt affect it at all.

  • Contest started: goo.gl\QyzJ5 - sign up and win iPad 2.

  • It's just the Otterbox Defender for ipad 2

  • These faults aside. I have to say, if you're none to gentle to your iPad, bang it around, pile paperwork, chargers, parts and laptops on it in the passenger seat on the road, use it a "balancing pad" to carry a cup of coffee into the office along with the cell phone and occasionally bounce it off the desk on floor, it does absolutely shine! If you want your iPad to just plain out be protected for Road Warrior usage and not Music or Camera, the Griffin is a very good option.

  • 3. Those same little Rubber Flaps, once open, have a small matching "receiver" matched to a extrusion on the flap that is meant to keep them open so that you can you the use the Rear Camera, or listen to music Speaker without the rubber case in the way...etc. No mater how hard I plug the matching "flap" to it's holder slot...they just don't work. The Rubber Flap comes undone in seconds. Oh well.

  • 2.(kinda) The Griffin Survivor Case has rubber "flaps" that protect the speaker, charge, headphone, etc. from the environment. The problem is that once they are closed, they love to be CLOSED. (which is good to a point) As I tend to bite my fingernails (lol) they are difficult to grip and therefore open. This is just a personal compliant.

  • I have this product currently wrapped around my iPad2 and it is quite good as far as protecting the pad. It also has it's problems. Some of which may just involve my particular Griffin Survivor Case. 1. The clear screen cover tends to "bubble up" and create an "airspace" over the original screen. (on the lower left hand corner on mine) While the "airspace" does not seem to cause any problems with user interface of the device it tends to be, well, annoying.

  • I just got this case for my new iPad 2 and I love it. I'm so glad I went with this one instead of the Otterbox case.

  • @jwemt81 do you still have good response of the touchscreen through the protective screen cover?

  • I just brought mine on Amazon , brilliant, I almost got the Otterbox the other day but when I tried it on my ipad it was way to heavy. This in my opinion is the best protection you cab get for your ipad, cheaper than the otterbox , lighter, and more attractive.

  • @Michiebooyoung do you still have good response of the touchscreen through the protective screen cover?

  • Ehh, if Griffin and Otterbox combined as one! The DEFENDING SURVIVOR CASE. :DDD

  • I will get this for my iPad 2 that I am using now

  • He tried hitting the clear button like 4 times while saying that the cover still allows access to screen... And it didn't work.

  • NOO IT WILL NOT FIT N IPAD 1 CUZ THE SIZ OF IPAD ONE IS FATTER THEN 2

  • will this case fit an ipad 1?

  • Turn up the mic next time you review.

  • How much does it weight?

  • Is the survivor or defender better? Which do you recommend?

  • @Superarragon5 i personally would reccomend survivor beacuase it looks cooler and comes with with clip/satnd

  • Just curious does this case protect from water?

  • @orangegOOf441 Just rain

  • Does it add very much weight? i have used the otterbox defender for the original ipad and it does. Was trying to compare. Thanks

  • It's a great case and price as well.
