I guess most strong singers can do this... but I still think there's nothing braver than a long a cappella intro where the singer has to end up perfectly in tune with the entering accompaniment.

I found this vocalist by searching iTunes for this particular song. I was curious about the various versions and this ranked in my top 5. It's hard to beat the honesty of Willie Nelson's version or the purity of tone of Sarah McLauchlan's. There are also a couple of great jazz versions too. This one I like because of his dramatic voice. This guy would whoop butt on Broadway. Keep it up man!
