Except Golden Sun isnt comparable to Hearts, and it isnt even DS.

Tales of Hearts is three times as long, has more replayability, a better story and better battle system. Also mentioning the characters are way more developed in Tales of Hearts

golden sun 3 WILL be on ds...it was announced at e309. I put tales on a higher pedestal than golden sun, but only slightly. In order of rpg series = Tales of series, Kingdom Hearts series, Golden Sun series, Dragon Quest series, Final Fantasy Series. :)

I was referring to the already released GBA Golden suns.

To me Tales are much more developed...

I cherish golden sun because it was the first RPG I played with actual character interaction and development, Tales beats it to the ground on that

Tales battle system isn't consistent. Id say sometimes is good, and sometimes is lacking. Turn based has already been tested out and works really well with GS's traditional style. But at least for this game i consider GS to be better gamplaywise. Still, im enyoing this game (it's the first time im playing a 2d and not 2.5d Tales game, yes i know it started out like this) and its not like its particularly bad either, quite the opossite. Though im lost in most of the skits, since my japanese is...

I accept all kinds of likes. So I wont impose my oppinion to you.

Taking only the mothership titles, because the escort titles are adapted to handheld and made horribly played, I say every single tales has an enjoyable value higher that than of a turn based system.

There is a fact of fun involved with everything happening at the same time, everything being thrown at you, and you comboing the hell out of people.

Turn based is tested out, yes, and it works well, but is slow, overused and boring.

The Tales series is rarely released, if at all because Namco Bandai thinks it wouldn't profit as much in the US as it does in Japan. So after the first shipment of 'em, that's it.

Probably wont be released in english ever, but lets hope it is.

There isnt any announcement yet, and the game was released december last year, it should have been anounced for localization by now.

i know but there is still radiant mythology 1 but im not so sure if tales of vs is going to be all that good in the first place it looks like super smash bros but with characters who probably take skill to use and based on the roster 99% chance it isn't coming to America because most of the confirmed characters are in japan only tales

Radiant mythology had like 18 characters, VS has 35 characters.

More characters = less chance of USA releasing

Reason is because they need to find voices :p

true they cant recycle voice clips outside of battle can they? but right now i would be happy if they released tales of the world nakiri dungeon 4 even if it is only in japan because radiant mythology had the issue of not having every character from all the games

I would like to know how you learn skills cauz you see, I beat 3 bosses and I still have the same skill with Shing at the begining of the game. A mix of fierce demon fang and havoc strike.

Get to soma build (sword> firs icon) and look for skills (purple symbol)

Also I know some basic vocabulary, not too much XD

It helps to play the game a lot though, and I still have 3 years more on japanese classes
