@GBREAL90 uhh.. id say anywhere from 87 to 93-94... if you want a great example of faster boom bap search the joint "Fast Forward remix" Da Shogunz... peace!
how'd you get that sexy bassline? is it a sample? and also how do you get vinyl into digital form to chop up and make into a beat? thanks man and this is a fucking sick beat
@KickBack90sBeats nice speedy responce ;) thanks a lot. cool idea about eqing the sample to get bass and it really paid off. thanks for the great motivation
@bidybo no problem homie. I try to get back to everyone asap. beatmakers have been filtering the bass out of samples for a loooooooooooong time... everyone did it... Pete Rock... DJ Premier, Buckwild, Lord Finesse... etc etc... but yeah IMO thats the best bass you can get... peace homie!!
@KickBack90sBeats well im not going to lie thats new information to me but it makes a lot of sense. great channel you've got going here i subbed thanks for motivating me
Yo kickback respect for the beats man pure raw hip hop beats is pumping trough my speakers now focking love it man.. do you use a filter or something like izotope vinyl or something to make it sound so raw and oldskool?
@byeybe thanks homie! much appreciation! I sample from vinyl records and yes I use different filters to make the drums and vinyl sound raw low quality old school flava. when it comes 2 drums... never buy kits... unless they are kits assembled by real beatmakers that put all their vinyl samples into one... most people just end up buying keyboard drum kits and those sound fake n plastic. if you can, always sample drums from vinyl. layer, and mix properly and you're gold. use low quality samples 2
@giroyagetme thanks... I havent had a chance to upload an mp3 beat tape yet but its comin soon... you can go to Crates Of AG blog and DL a small 10 track beat tape + a few other joints if you want... or DL straight from youtube for now... peace
@ThrashingTerror thanks brother! I appreciate it fully! FL 7. I buy vinyl records and sample them in a program called Audacity with a USB turntable... I NEVER EVER use a single sound from FL... ALL samples... all day... lol... layer different snares from different vinyl records and mix proper and you will get crazy hardcore snares and drums... peace homie!
I love this beat dude! Made a little Edit with a few stuff added ;) well actually I still love this one even more than my edit, but this freaking bass forced me to do it.
Hey what up man! I just wanted to know if you can wanted to do a little sample based beat battle on YouTube? You pick the sample, and we'll go from there and post it up on YouTube. If so, get at me!

@bidybo yes the bassline is a sample. just filtered a sample to get the bass.
I use a USB turntable and a program called audacity. there are many tutorials on how to do it if you have the right equipment. and audacity is free.
then after I save the sample as wav, I send it to my beat program to chop up and go from there.
thanks brp! glad you like these older joints... haha peace!
