it's because from the late 50s onwards vocal harmony bands replaced barbershop bands, bands that excell there are the beatles, all those motown bands like the supremes, and the greatest of them all, the Beach Boys.

you can find a lot of their songs where the vocals are extracted (complete pet sounds album), but their best vocal harmonies are on ewvery song like good vibrations to forever.

but for a song they always sang in acapella search for their hearts were full of spring.

@Snegenad1 I love A Capella since 2 or 3 Years, and im just 13 Years old.I've found this sort of music not at Scrubs, but at the Simpsons ("Homers Band"). Its just a nice kind of music in the World, but when a 13 years old boy loves it, then it must be popular,or not?
