We did this tour with Shanghai Sideways last week. It was the best tour we've ever taken. What you see in the video is what you get, plus your choice of destinations that aren't on any other tour's agenda. Getting to the roof of the post office even though it was closed for a private function, seeing the abattoir, walking the back lanes of the real "old town"... What a fantastic way to meet the city. When it was done, we felt like we knew the place—it made the rest of our visit much easier.
My little son and I must have watched this video 40-50 times, in preparation for our tour with Shanghai Sideway later this month. He knows when the boats are coming up, and knows when it's time to throw his arms in the air. Excellent promotional video!
