@Wilcox3 im sure he's goin to get back there 4th in points aint to shabby. he almost won the coke 600 sunday and martinsville..he will win something this season. I can imagine the pressure thats on his plate to win the sprint cup especially with his dads legacy and now him on hendrick with jeff gorden and jimmie johnson as his teammates as well as mark martin who finished runner up to dale sr for the winston cup.
I was there, at qualifying and the race. And to see Jr take the pole from Kurt Busch, BY 4 seconds, it was amazing. The #8 team needed a moral boost like this, I had goose bumps in the stands watching him take the pole.And he kept a 2nd place spot all day! give credit where credit is due, Kurt Busch had the car to beat.
I'm a huge Jeff Gordon and Jr. fan and I am so happy that they are now gunna be teammates....Gordon has won this year so this needs to be Jr's race! I dont care what race he wins as long as he would win!
