There are certain people I can't bring myself to forgive because I did nothing wrong and it was all them. We don't talk anymore, so I think it's better that we see eachother everyday and ignore it than seeing eachother everyday and saying mean stuff, and I just couldn't see myself forgiving them if they don't even feel bad about what they've done. :/

hey i agree with you so much on this topic and it's also something that i feel really strongly about. it's just so annoying when there are so many people out in the world that don't understand that hate overall contributes nothing good to society and that it's just a huge waste of time. i try to spread this message around a lot to my friends and people around me, but there are just so many people that would rather hate something they don't understand than try to see from another perspective. :(

My brother lived in a commune in Berkeley in the '60s, and my dad and I also adopted a hippie type of lifestyle... we're good people, we're kind to others and we bathe!

I feel really bad now :( Someone at my school called Jordon used to be my best friend we used to do everything together and get on sooooo well. Hate is such a strong word, to be honest, I've NEVER meant "hate" in its real definition. I don't like a few people, never NEVER hate though!! Sometimes people can get on your nerves, say hateful things, but I don't think hate will ever be meant unless it's ABSOLUTELY necisery =/

I agree that we can't just bitch about people for no reason and act as if no-one else has any feelings, but sometimes you can't just forgive someone for what they do, maybe some people can, but some people can't, because sometimes you put trust in people and they stab you in the back, or, your going to forgive them, and they're going to do it again, you know, sometimes it's best to just stay away from some of those people.

at first I was against this video, until i watched the whole thing you make a point. but i already tried to forgive a person, for being rude to me all the time for no apparent reason, but they just kept going on and on. so I don't have the decency to say sorry to them. I'm not gonna stoop THAT low for them.

I really needed to hear this after the things that happen at school. (High School's just wonderful,isn't it?) I'm one of those people who would really like to be friends with everyone,and be nice. But at school,I apparently made friends with someone that other people didn't seem to think I didn't 'fit in' with. I was called names,and almost beatin' up. You've honestly made me want to be 'the bigger person',and forgive. ^_^

I really couldn't agree more! This is the message I'm trying to get across to my friends, they find it so alien that I don't hate anyone, but it's just second nature to me. I mean, at the beginning of the year, there was some really horrible bitching done about me and I felt terrible. But I don't hate the person who bitched about me and all my mates don't see how I can't hate her. So yeah, I'll pass this on hoping that it'll make people think (:

I'm glad I saw this video today.
I'm going to a party in a couple hours and the girl who stole my boyfriend of 7 months is going to be there. I hate her, well now I would say more like dislike. But still....and she and my ex are pissed because I went to the movies with her brother. I never thought this would all happen to me. I have cried so much over my ex and now I just need to be strong and let go and forgive.

I agree with most of what you've said. BUT, if you're not going to be hurtful to other people, why did you use the sweeping generalization of "dirty" hippie? My brother lived in a commune in Berkeley in the '60s, and my dad and I also adopted a hippie type of lifestyle... we're good people, we're kind to others and we bathe!

you can't and you shouldn't like everyone.
for a long time i had to be nice to everyone even tough they where assholes because people in my class where like that.
(and they really where, they broke everything and stole from everyone)
so i had to be nice to them for 4 years. but after that i was really depressed and needed a lot of proffesional help to get out of it. (srry to make this so depressing)
so you can't always be nice to everyone. some people take advantage of it.

Seriously.. im going threw a hard time with friends hating eachother. This is the exact point im trying to make to them. Im 13 and you are the first person to understand the exact way i feel about it. Im not laughing.. its true. And im tired of the hate. Who wants to end life that way. Girl i love you right now. and trust me.. im going to make them watch this... hopefully they will understand the way i feel not just out of my mouth..but out another.

This is really true. I cannot stand the fact that people can hate somebody and have no clue what goes on behind walls they put up. It is an absolute horrible thing to do, and im not going to lie i have hated somebody, but i forgive them. Thank you for putting this up, i totally agree.

That is an excellent point! People need to start realizing that hating others is a waste of time; there is no need for it. Have you read any of Gandhi's quotes? They are very inspiring. You have a great message that needs to be heard by everyone, imagine what would happen :)

Hey Chrystlin! I sreamed "YAY!!!!!!" When i saw that you had a video lol and my dad was like "What are you on about?". I feel really bad now :( Someone at my school called Jordon used to be my best friend we used to do everything together and get on sooooo well. But now i'm not he started to lie alot to try and get attention and even start to lie to me. And then snitching on people everyone says they hate him and they treat him like shit. And i didn't want to get in that sort of position.

Hate is such a strong word, to be honest, I've NEVER meant "hate" in its real definition. I don't like a few people, never NEVER hate though!! Sometimes people can get on your nerves, say hateful things, but I don't think hate will ever be meant unless it's ABSOLUTELY necisery =/

I agree that we can't just bitch about people for no reason and act as if no-one else has any feelings, but sometimes you can't just forgive someone for what they do, maybe some people can, but some people can't, because sometimes you put trust in people and they stab you in the back, or, your going to forgive them, and they're going to do it again, you know, sometimes it's best to just stay away from some of those people.

like i believe that you need to forgive people for the things they do. like, let go of the past and move on. but i dont think that means you need to be friends with them or even talk to them anymore. you cant be around people who hurt you, but you shouldnt waste life holding onto anger against them. it hurts you.
