This system isn't that great,who's going to steer for a giant roadblock that's visible? And who's to say someoen's going to travel on the Exact path that this thing is set up on? Someone could easily drive through dirt and brush with a big truck instead of on pathed road, especially if it's equipped with 4WD.

looks like that truck has airbags suspension

which means it floats on airbags to make it a smoother ride

back in the day when that made a lot of improvements that thought they'd just make the cap be soft and squishy and make the wheel have minimal suspension. so when the cab flys off its just the airbags and wat little metall holding it on ripping under the immense force
