My comment is directed at those that believe that somehow God has some algorithm for those he 'protects' and those he doesn't. Whenever some fate befalls people it was the will of God and when they avoid harm it was also the will of God. I think things happen a bit more randomly than perhaps you do.
God may or may not have an algorithm for those he protects, but I wouldn't out of hand nonsensically dismiss the possibility. Certainly it was the shortest death imaginable for those birds, and for all we know they experienced no pain(again, assuming God granted such a thing). That would equate to "zero" harm.
Though, if we're speaking of an algorithm, I don't think there's much question that a bird's brain has less capacity to fully experience pain on the level that we do.

My comment is directed at those that believe that somehow God has some algorithm for those he 'protects' and those he doesn't. Whenever some fate befalls people it was the will of God and when they avoid harm it was also the will of God. I think things happen a bit more randomly than perhaps you do.

God may or may not have an algorithm for those he protects, but I wouldn't out of hand nonsensically dismiss the possibility. Certainly it was the shortest death imaginable for those birds, and for all we know they experienced no pain(again, assuming God granted such a thing). That would equate to "zero" harm.
Though, if we're speaking of an algorithm, I don't think there's much question that a bird's brain has less capacity to fully experience pain on the level that we do.

not true actually! My friend is in the airforce and he says it's easier on water than land, the problem is after you land. The water acts like a hard cussion whereas the ground acts like a solid non movable pad. so you have more leway with water
