Fantastic video. I kept playing this video repeatedly before buying the CD and it set the scene for the whole album. The visuals match the music perfectly. I still relate to this video whenever I play this track. I have always found this track calming, almost hypnotic and it stays with you long afterwards. Been a big fan since 'Hounds of Love'. For me this album is up there with her best. Genius.
i remember buying Kate's VHS greatest hits with about 10-12 videos on it and with the passing of video players sending the VHS to the charity shop thinking i would never again see, possibly Kate singing Egypt or whatever. thanks to t'internet and you tube i have possibly 70-80 videos of Kate Bush on my ipad,iphone, ipod. thank you first to Kate for being there, thank you second for youtube and thank you to me for living to see this miracle. we all deserve a big hug. xxx

Don't get me wrong, I love 'Wild Man', and the piano on this is inspirational ...... but even for a Kate fanatic I can't like the album as a whole. Not a problem. She's such a great artist, I don't mind if she has gone further than I can appreciate.

Been a fan for more years than I care to remember, well in the region of 25 to 30 years. This song is typical of Kate's music. Really good and a pleasure to sit down with and relax with a good pair of headphones on and just sink into Kate's world.
Kate Bush matures with her music. I hear age and wisdom. She seems more free in her expression (being one who is hurt easily by criticism) if that is at all possible from such a unique being. Like her, my life has changed beyond recognition through the birth of beauty incarnate - our Sons. I see live very differently now - I suspect she does too.

This is like a resumption of Aerial! It´s a Masterpiece and one of my alltime fave albums. I´ve got "50 Words for Snow" as a christmas gift and i loved it immediately!!! This song is just brilliant with Bertie´s voice like the whole album is brillant. It´s a great pleasure to find the song with the wonderful video here. Wow oh wow :) what an enigmatic peice. I thought Ariel was mindblowing on the piano but this album totally hits the mark. Unique in true kate fashion!

As for the artwork the whole "Fish" thing was inspired, as far as I can tell, by some famous French artworks from 1934, Une semaine de bonté ("A Week of Kindness").
Why are people commenting on Kate's "husky" voice ? It's NOT! She can still do the "mad screach" ("Don't you know it's not just the Eskimo, let me hear your 50 Words for Snow") and her beautifully soft controlled vocals [compare "Through the Spooky Wood looking for her "("Lake Tahoe") with "and went to a room that was soon full of visitors" ("Blow Away")] She demonstrates both deep AND shrill sounds together on "Wild Man" ["Lying in my tent, I can hear your cry"]. "Misty" is just outstanding!
THERE IS NO BETTER MUSIC 2 LISTEN 2 ON HEADPHONES WILE IN UR BED. SO EMOTIVE. I JUST WISH I CUD PLAY THE PIANO, AND THIS SONG SHOWS HOW WONDERFUL KATE BUSH IS AND WHAT A FANTASTIC INSTRUMENT THE PIANO IS.
This is an amazing piece of music. I wonder if some of the listeners who are criticizing Kate's voice are aware that most of the singing on this piece was done by her very young son - Kate only sings the refrain of, "The world is so loud, keep falling, I'll find you." I loved her old music and love her now and I'm just so thrilled she's making new music again.

Just watched your video for snowflake. I am just discovering kate bush. Running up that hill has been a favorite of mine for awhile but never gave her much of a listen. I've made over 100 Kate related videos, not all of them are on youtube at the moment, but I will be posting them over time. I know you didn't ask, but personally....I think what you've put together should be made the official video release for this track. It is stunningly as beautiful as the music it's representing. I'm not just saying that to be nice, either. It will probably be on my Facebook page for more than a few weeks.
Again, great work, ...i like the moment the words "find u" fall together with the sharp looking "eye" of an owl! But i am not sure the aneme sequence fits into the context , in my mind it might spoil the romantic feel to the video,but again its only a second or two of ten minutes!
Have all her albums , and this little beauty is growin on me with every listen , the whole album is so different to anything any other artist would even attempt , reaches parts no other artist can reach !
Such a beautiful song, this album's reviews weren't entirely just but some songs did dissapoint me. Regardless, the piano in this is outstanding and her voice is like no other <3
For all of you didn't know the Kate only sings the chorus on this song, the other parts are sung by her son. At first I thought it was Kate as well and I was shocked at the similarities.

I don't mind constructive criticism of my work, and I think it would be great if youtube would force people to leave a comment as to why if they are giving a thumbs-down but they don't, therefore these people can remain anonymous cowards imo! @vibesinthesky well yes, looking around some of the comments about it quite a few are not too pleased with it. dull and boring some are saying, and one even said she should have called it "50 words for slow". they are so quick to make a judgment, some still expect easy listening from our kate. don't they know her at all?
truly amazing video trev. it really captures the mood of the song and i think it will go a long way to helping the people who may be struggling a little with the new album.
my favorite track so far is snowed in at wheeler street. yes it may be the most easily accessible track, but to me it has undertones of her earlier material. i can hear prologue throughout it, and the lyric "theres just something about you", and (to me) it has the feel of "top of the city".

@vibesinthesky Someone posted the songs on yt before the album release which made some people angry and surprisingly MISTY was divided into 2 parts... :P But I learned to enjoy part 2 more (the last 5 minutes, the drama part). Misty is one of the best songs I've heard. I was about to tell you I hope for a good, honest video for that! Not only from Kate Bush herself (soon!). Wee.
@Sharmilka Do I usually make dishonest videos then? I think it's sacrilege to split Misty into two parts, the first part is needed to allow the second to "build up" the drama! Just my opinion. Just watched your video for snowflake. I am just discovering kate bush. Running up that hill has been a favorite of mine for awhile but never gave her much of a listen. @tealc42010 Thank you, I would say you're very lucky to be just discovering Kate, she has a wonderful body of work behind her. I've made over 100 Kate related videos, not all of them are on youtube at the moment, but I will be posting them over time. At present the channel is dedicated to the latest album release, but I will be setting it back to normal in the new year. Happy Christmas!

Again, great work, ...i like the moment the words "find u" fall together with the sharp looking "eye" of an owl! But i am not sure the aneme sequence fits into the context , in my mind it might spoil the romantic feel to the video,but again its only a second or two of ten minutes!

@vibesinthesky well yes, looking around some of the comments about it quite a few are not too pleased with it. dull and boring some are saying, and one even said she should have called it "50 words for slow". they are so quick to make a judgment, some still expect easy listening from our kate. don't they know her at all?

truly amazing video trev. it really captures the mood of the song and i think it will go a long way to helping the people who may be struggling a little with the new album.
my favorite track so far is snowed in at wheeler street. yes it may be the most easily accessible track, but to me it has undertones of her earlier material. i can hear prologue throughout it, and the lyric "theres just something about you", and (to me) it has the feel of "top of the city".

@vibesinthesky Someone posted the songs on yt before the album release which made some people angry and surprisingly MISTY was divided into 2 parts... :P But I learned to enjoy part 2 more (the last 5 minutes, the drama part). Misty is one of the best songs I've heard. I was about to tell you I hope for a good, honest video for that! Not only from Kate Bush herself (soon!). Wee.

If Kate's doing one I'll wait for hers before I do mine (that's only polite) and anyways, one melting snowman on yt is enough!
