Love this video, especially since you didn't secure it to a desk, but a dog crate. As to the method, I wonder how secure that back plate on the Asus really is. Couldn't someone just pull up the computer, leaving the plate behind?
Ha! Funny that you saw this. This is from an ongoing discussion for the Philippines. The idea isn't so much to make the thing unstealable, but more to make prospective thieves think that there are some security mechanisms already in place so they just go somewhere else. The back plate is only secured to the EEE with little screws or if you just find the big nut you can just loosen it (unless it gets filed off or something). Do you guys have any recommendations (beyond cable locks?)?
