iMac 21.5 inch 2011 Review PART 1

A lot of this video seems like you're just going along with what you're reading from the box. There is nothing good about Dual Core compared to what's sitting in front of you (even though I know that's a Quad). I won't deny that the computer isn't fast because it is, but there are better amounts of GHz than 2.5, I'm sporting a 3.2GHz, admittedly in a Windows PC (I will be switching soon for video making purposes).

ok. Im an old computer person of the 80;s. I have been out of computers, other than a laptop and an ipad for a number of years. I was considering getting an imac, such as yours, i decided im building my pc. All those usbs and holes being at the back of the set would be royal pain in the ass for me since i use them all the time. charging, up and downloading etc.

@canids You can get USB hubs that may solve this :) But its up to you, I would recommend macs!

To get the '#' Key on a Mac (which im using right now) you simple hold down 'alt' and '3' :) Hope this helps.

nice review, but do you have any prediction on the 2012 imac coming out? i can either get the macbook pro or wait for the 2012 imac so i want to know if its worth waiting for. if it loses the dvd drive i will definitely not wait for it

@seongkeunkim I wouldnt expect them to lose the optical drive from their desktops but they still might. But I would say that the macbook pro will probably use it. There is actually an accessory that has the optical drive and connects via USB!

this is a bad review. you need to at least script and write down the specs first and remember them. so many things you got wrong and then having to correct.

@dean5778 Thanks for the advice. I did actually write down all of the specs but then, as always, my mind goes 'blargh' when I start! And the whole quad core thing was a stupid me talking rant mistake :P

Other people said they liked it so oh well :) And this is my first ever video review :D

@smalldude3211 It is very good at video editing, I run Final Cut Pro X :D. The processor really helps it to run these programs very fast. I would highly recommend the iMac, its awesome :D

Also itunes comes with it so yay :P

@ThePurpleDrumStick Keyboard does. The magic mouse has an Off/On slide switch underneath that I always turn off to save battery life :)

@ThePurpleDrumStick I use final cut pro and it works fine. It does get quite warm on the back, but that is where is is putting the heat into the air rather than in the machine :)

Your new to mac aren't you? The way you talk about about cool stuff on a mac that you don't get on a pc is so funny but it's the same for all mac users when they switch from pc. I remember when I first got mine I was 'Oh my gosh I opened 2 windows and it didn't break!' ;) great vid :)

The other LED looking thing next to the camera is not a light at all. It's actually a brightness indicator. It senses the brightness in the room and adjusts the brightness of the computer.
