@AwickedMind, rumor has it that its because one of the top fox guys tried to sleep with Morena Baccarin and she shot him down very badly. Long story short he got pissy and pulled the plug on the show. Basically a ceo wanted to get his dick wet and we all suffer because of his inability to keep it in his pants.
Firefly deserved 10 seasons easy. It just has to be said. It blew Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, and even Star Wars in the weeds. So fuck you, Fox, sincerely, for depriving our culture of the next big science fiction phenomena. I swear, it was like randomly giving up on Harry Potter after the first movie. How did they not realize what they had on their hands? I think Joss must have slept with some big boss's wife LOL.
I forgot that scene, I remember I choked on a beer cause it was kinda random! :D Such an epic show with real humour and heart. Not much in the way of this show these days :(
@johnmrrs yeah, I hear that. And I'd just about kill for another season of Deadwood. But we GOT 36 eps of Deadood. Can you imagine 3x the Firefly that we actually got?!?!?
@eeplebert well i would think firefly would be easier to get the cast back together most of the deadwood cast is off doing big movies and nathan might be able to balance castle and another firefly season
