The Shannon Pot is close by,and the border villages of Blacklion and Belcoo are easily picked out.
I'll try and make my next climb on a clearer day,and then the views will include the distinctive shape of Ben Bulben over in Sligo. Have a look on my Blog at 'Burren'
Hi Breffni, climbing up from Dunmakeever, the first views are of the wider community of Glangevlin. The stretches of water seen are Upper Lough Erne (this confuses quite a number of people since Upper Lough Erne is south of Lower Lough Erne),Lough Macnean Lower and Upper,Brackley Lough and Lough Melvin and Commis. On a clear day include Loughs Allen,Oughter,Melvin,Lower Lough Erne and countless others since nine counties can be viewed on a clear day.
This is a great video of our favorite place in the world.
