Hey a lot of people gave a few crappy comments about tracing. But honestly what you drew was fantastic and Ariel looked amazing. I liked watching and I hope you grow up to be a fantastic artist. :-D
I'm good at tracing drawing and they all come out really good, but I have a few problems with making and coming up with my own poses for the characters. Do you have any advice that could help me?

this is very good. you drew her hair perfectly and really captured the essence of that wavy look. I think that the only thing i can actually criticize is the bottom half of Ariel's face. it just looked smaller that it should be. but then again, im not a professional and i could have been just spouting crap :/ nice job!!!

I loved this. it's my dream to work for Disney or Pixar :D. If I were you, instead oif using black as the outline, use dark colors for example a darker color of peach for the face so it blends together and looks like you didn't use lineart. Disney only uses black for the eyelashes and I think eyebrows but Im not sure :3. Great job!

I always find that free hand is way better than any other way. People have told me to trace items in the past, but I find its kinda like "cheating". I draw free hand alot, mostly super heros, and Flintstone characters.

OMG!This is the most and only similar ariel to Mark Henn's!(the original animator of ariel).Even the sequels dont look anything like the orginal Ariel.Girl,you blow me away.

@Munzikii Prismacolor colored pencils. Don't buy the Vera-Thin prismacolor pencils buy the classics. They are only a $1.25 a pencil. You can buy them at any art store (as long as you live in America. Or you can buy them in packs. Thanks for watching.

@TheEgyptianOne I watched the movie and froze the type of face I wanted to use then I juts made up what her hair and where her head was going to face.
Ariel was the caracter that really made me start drawing...If u look at my 4-6 draw, you see all ariels XD there's even one with a black eye 'cause i tried to draw that eye so many times that the page was starting to broke XD

so for the darker parts of the hair, u blended the red with black? black first, red over it? im transitioninginto colored pencils :D

Ariel was the caracter that really made me start drawing...If u look at my 4-6 draw, you see all ariels XD there's even one with a black eye 'cause i tried to draw that eye so many times that the page was starting to broke XD
