I would refer to it as Automotive Styling Clay, but there is probably a more generic name that I don't know :-)

@2mhk It is Chavant that we have used, but there are other manufacturers and each has different properties

Not sure if anyone else can recommend any other material, but one of the reasons I shot this video was to help my students, due to the lack of instructional material available. When I was a student at Coventry, many years ago, we were just thrown into it and expected to find out how to proceed!!
