People are missing the fact that Omar Khadr did kill a US soldier with a grenade. His father took him from Canada to train as a fighter. His father should never have trained the boy in war. If the boy had not killed he would not have been detained. However detaining him for four years before giving him a trial is what most bothered me.

All treaties that the US have signed up to SANCTION the defense of one's homeland against FOREIGN INVADERS. If some American 15-year old threw a grenade at a foreign soldier in Nebraska of Ohio or Main would that kid be a terrorist or murderer?

@oakcliff621 Khadr is a hero in Canada. Up here we realize that americans have murdered thousands of people in the middle east, and it's all for control of oil. Day old infants are killed so that americans can have their oil. Don't think that the world isn't coming to this realization, because they are. Once Khadr is realeased from prison he will be treated like a hero, A 15 year old boy, whose relatives have been murdered for years, took revenge; and for that he will be hailed a hero.
