@Mr5eXLove Actually, that is not true. Windows 95 is not an actual OS but is an operating environment built off DOS. Windows 7 is built off NT architecture, and MS dropped DOS with Windows XP, and the last MS DOS based OS was Windows Me.

Far from it. Windows 7 and 95 are very very very different platforms.

Windows 95 is based DIRECTLY on the MS-DOS platform, while Windows 7 has a very good base out of IBM OS/2.

I actually like 95, now that anything can run it max speed... My first computer ever was that colorful compaq you got, it came with ME, so idk why you would put 95 on it xD. Either way, now i got 7, and everything is right with the world. I just installed M$ virtual pc, and installed 3.11 and 95 on it though. I like messing with the specs, M$ said that the minimum required RAM was 8mb, but i changed it to 8mb in virtual pc, and 3 applications made it freeze completely, ctrl+alt+del didn't help!!
