  • i was wondering why i didnt recognize this, im used to the " Peter No-Tail In Americat" version. glad that ones on here too!!!!

  • Mike sounds like Jim Carrey

  • Watching this for fun and comparing to the original Swedish one, and I think Peters voice is very sweet ^^

  • Wow-this is different than the version I saw as a kid. 'Mike' was Max, and the dub was in good 'ol American vernacular. Max's voice was also a bit deeper. I remember seeing this on HBO. I've noticed that quite a bit of the dialogue is different, as well.

  • LOL 6:15 "Romantic... and SEXY"

haha I definitely did not notice that as a kid!

  • @Cuteblondie1972 I knew somethin didnt sound right. good thing I wasnt the only one who picked that up :)

  • I didn't know they had actually dubbed this to english. Now I do!

Mike (Måns) laugh is very similar to the original voice!

  • @Andreazor But it's still not as good as Ernst-Hugo "Dansjävlar" Järegård

  • @ACruelPicture No kidding! No one can hope to match him when it comes to... Well pretty much anything!

Still it is evident that the guy who did the voice for Måns (Or Mike) clearly took many cues from the original and that is to be commended.

I really can't blame him that the lipsyncing is pretty poor, it must have been hard to dub this to English.

  • So "Mike" is the English version of "Måns"?

Hah, sorry, but it doesn't suit him, I think.

I much prefer their names from the Swedish (original) version, and also their voices,

but I gotta admit that this was a nice dub after all. :)

  • 6:08 haha animalcruely or what?

  • This reminds me of team rocket

  • I always remeber the scene where Mike is hosed. It always cracks me up even after 20 years.

  • The voice of Mean Mike, Peter Woodthorpe, twice voiced "Lord of the Rings" character Gollum in the 1978 Ralph Bakshi version of and the 1981 BBC Radio presentation.

  • Mikes real name is MÅNS.

Måns its a very common Swedish

    boy-name.

the letter "Å" sounds like a disseponinted "O". like when you get sad, and says Oooooooh....

and Mollys real name is Maja Gräddnos.

Maja is a common swedish girl name.

    and Gräddnos means cream-nose/snout.

  • @violatormelms Mikes real name in finland is Monni and peter is pekka but in Sweden it is called pelle, and pelle is a Finnish clown.

  • Peter Woodthorpe sound exactly like the swedish måns =)

  • 6:07 lmao, Peter Woodthorpe is a gem
