Yeah got to agree with minikoot on that one. I saw the spider from castle st to church street & it was top notch. Missed it climbing the steps at the Oldham Echo Arena, listened on the radio, & was led to believe it climbed the stairs on it's own. Disappointing to see it rests on a jib. Was cool tho, crowds great, nothing like bringing the people out on to the streets together....

Pity they had to hang it off the worst building in town.

I went sunday bit of a swizz if you ask me spider should have woke up at 3pm but canceled until 7pm.There were people who had travelled from Manchester to see it.Overhyped a bit like the tall ships .That was brill back in '92 yet this year not as many ships even though it's capital of culture year.Crowds were mega though.Sorry I'm proactive towards the city just a little dissapointed with things.
