as to the claim that lowes lets you return anything--not always. it maybe USED to be that way, but they have gotten increasingly more anal about it much more than home depot. Example--recently we got a toilet at home depot. It was faulty and we returned it (unused) with no issue. Lowes won't take back toilets for example, even if it's faulty and has a leak.

I know someone who works at a company that insures Lowes for General Liability and Worker's comp injuries. They can't install a fridge without putting holes in a customer's vinyl flooring. They can't install a washer without securing the hoses and flooding the customer's basement. Hell, the employees can't even open a box with a box cutter without cutting the tip of their fingers off! I know someone who works at a company that insures Lowes for General Liability and Worker's comp injuries. They can't install a fridge without putting holes in a customer's vinyl flooring. They can't install a washer without securing the hoses and flooding the customer's basement. Hell, the employees can't even open a box with a box cutter without cutting the tip of their fingers off! You bought a FULLY ASSEMBLED light FIXTURE. And its not called a Lithonia Lighting Shoplight, its called a shoplight and it is made and distributed by Lithonia Lighting. They are the company that chooses to include bulbs or not, not Lowe's. By the way, the majority of light fixtures DO NOT include bubs, no matter where you buy them from.
